I swapped the HDMI cable to a different port on the TV and the volume came back.....thx for the help...I avoided having to call provider...and didn't need to unplug power. Just moved hdmi to another port on tv.

I finally figured it out! It’s the damn objects near it and router that’s messing with the frequency and disabling the WiFi. I moved my big tv to the other room and it worked. And put my other small tv in the other room and it stopped working. Turns out you can’t have the router too close to the tv. So I put the router further away and it started working 🤦‍♂️ this was a stranger thing moment. This happened a year ago. Today my big tv stopped working WiFi disabling automatically. Turned out I placed my metal necklaces and a battery pack. I removed them from the table and it worked 🤦‍♂️ also I brought a. Bluetooth keyboard today and I think that’s what stopped it as well. It’s called frequency hopping.

If this works I will literally send you $5! GODSEND. I hate these moronic "Engineers" and "Programmers" but really their shitty supervisors who serve to only annoy the ever loving fuck out of the idiots (me) who buy their crap. They could have mentioned this IN THE MANUAL?! Nooooooooo. Waste of digital ink! You are a saint.

Not a factory reset😮. I do the restart. And I will NEVER accepted Google privacy ESPECIALLY LOCATION. I'll just restart daily😅. This just started happening to me. Have had my TV for about 10 years and prior to recently, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.

I'm looking for a different solution. My yamaha yas1080 sounbar loses its TV hdmi arc connection frequently. And to make matters worse, I have two of these set up with TVs in the house and both have the same problem.

where is the eject button on that remote? to eject the DVD?

Had to figure this out for a relative. It was driving them (and me) nuts. Not so much a problem for me but for them, an elderly person, it was a huge chore.

Most people have done all these things before praying there is a YT channel that suggests something more than 4 simple tasks. Most likely I have some sort of HW problem that is going to require opening up the TV. It's interesting that BlueTooth is also not working, which shares functionality with the WiFi module. And Never Ever agree to any privacy settings.

Okay, I already disabled the standbt feature but what keeps on happening is the soundbar will do this chime after a few minutes (I'd say 10 mins) but this time the sound of the input is still intact and this is driving me crazy cause I cant turn it off.

My x90f turns off the wifi as I enable it. The Sony guys ordered a new wifi module that too did not work, any suggestions ?

I don't know how I had my Yamaha sound bar hooked up to my Vizio tv earlier today but I tried to watch a movie tonight on DVD and I had no sound and like a dummy I just started unplugging cords thinking I needed to reroute some of them. The fact of the matter is that I did need to reroute one I just didn't know which or where until I did an internet search about how to hook my Vizio up to my Yamaha and my search directed me to your video. I followed your directions for hooking to a non-Sony TV and your instruction was direct and precise. I can't thank you enough! One of us in the house has a slight hearing impairment and blew the TV speakers which opened the need for a replacement. Yamaha has great sound so I bought that brand of sound bar and haven't been disappointed in the least. Everyone can hear just fine again while watching TV and now thanks to your instruction; everything is hooked up properly too! Seriously; thank you so very much for helping other human beings not as technically proficient as you! *Thank you; thank you; thank you!* BTW; you have a new subscriber! *EDIT:* Oh hey; the Cable remote now controls the sound bar too! Before using your instructions we had to use the sound bar remote for sound, a slight inconvenience, but now we don't have to. Thanks so much again! Have a great week!

Thanks for showing, don't get why sony TV needs to turn on Google just to play the TV. Friday night woke up at 5.05am hearing my TV turn on loud punk music like it's 1999. Never had I have had this issue and I thought it was my neighbour connected to my TV to prank since I haven't updated my TV and don't have the internet.
