I am happy I was in time to order one of these. The art on Yoshimaru is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Personally, I dislike limiting the print run of secret lairs to improve shipping times. The international shipping of the products is slow as molasses anyway, whether or not they do it like this...

Did you order in the US or international? WOTC is US-based so shipping domestically takes less time. Either way, if it makes you feel better, it was $50US for the foils, and they're already up to $80 now lol

Terror used to be a staple black card for a long, long time starting in Alpha. Before mirrodin, there were very few artifact creatures, plus regen used to be a pretty powerful effect.

The original printing of every one of these cards are worth more in foil than these EVER will be. You bought dead cardboard which you'll be lucky to recoup cost on if you sell to aftermarket. They're definitely no shock lands, that's for sure: slot fillers in EDH at best.

Well for starters you are trying to refute a claim that no one even made in this video. In spite of that, you are wrong. If you price compare these cards to the originals (even foiled) they are higher value in secondary market. Granted that could shift either way. First prints and these types of one-off specialty reprints are, generally speaking, the most collectible versions, so really it's a moot point either way. The bonus card of this drop is currently around $30/40 alone. SLD cards are usually printed to order and will never be re-printed (the card possibly, but not the version itself). Second, we use the majority of the cards we acquire so "recouping cost" is not really a big factor. We mostly purchase singles but it's fun to partake in product opening for select items.. part of the reason for this channel ; ) These particular cards in this video are very playable in almost any format, so not really sure what you mean by "slot fillers". In fact, I would argue they are least effective in EDH if anything. Lastly, again, we never claimed these were shocklands, or even comparable to them. Shocklands have been re-printed though, and will appear in Ravnica Remastered. Make sure to subscribe so you can see when we (hopefully) crack a couple!

Blue-Green is Simic, or Quandrix depending on if you consider Strixhaven superior to Ravnica. If we were talking about the shards of alara or the wedges of Tarkir I could give you guys some credit here but neither of you even knew Blue-Red is Izzet / Prismari? Y'all are grown adults trying to profit off this game. Do your research if you can't be bothered to memorize useless information.

Let's say they are in fact just collecting for the sake of it or better yet, just collecting to try and make a profit. What is amoral about that? They are game pieces as well as collectibles with value. Shitting on someone for not knowing color pairings just seems a bit telling as if to say "you're not a TRUE magic fan!"

Maybe don't like make comments on the story if you know nothing about the content it's depicting. The weeping angels on any ranking list you see are in the top if not THE top of all the villains rankings list. Also the episode in which the statue of liberty was revealed to be a Weeping Angel was badass. Amazing concept. Idk why this video exists if you know nothing about the content, looked at the art online 1st and didn't like most of it and think most the cards they're printed on suck. The art wont mean anything to you if you didn't experience this content.

There are a few angel themed threats in Doctor Who, and these cards are focused on ‘The Weeping Angels’. They are one of the shows most popular monsters since the show was revived in 2005. And the Weeping Angels first appeared in 2007, in an episode called Blink. They also only have 4 stories dedicated to them since 2007, so they aren’t overused but are a fan favourite. They basically freeze like a statue, and cannot be destroyed. But when nothing is looking at them, they then move at rapid speeds. And if they touch you, they either will kill you, or send you back in time and feed on Time Energy. One way to stop them is to make them look at themselves or each other. Because they cannot view each other, they have a title of ‘The Lonely Assasins’. The episode Blink is the highest rated episode of the show on IMDB. And it’s not really connected to the rest of the show, with the Doctor barely being part of it. Although it doesn’t have the same narrative structure as most episodes, it’s a great episode for non-fans to start the show with just to see how creative it can be.

Hololive Production is Virtual KZbinr (they don't show their face, but they use a virtual anime avatar) agency, and all the characters have thier own channel (had in the case of Rushia) Anime Expo 2022 is basically the event where the cards got featured.

The tin has the same set of 5. Certain cards individually, often yes, but otherwise this couldn't be more wrong. Majority of SLDs are worth much more than initial price. Run a broad search for drops on tcgplayer. It's pretty crazy.

I am a MTG player and a Christian. These cards are starting to look and sound (flavor) seriously demonic. I wouldn't even touch or play those secret layer black/red cards. Sticking with normal white deck until I can stop playing this game. Repent, people. Hell is real. Seek Jesus for Salvation.

Interesting comment. Ty for sharing your thoughts. I think that was possibly the intention of this artwork. The impression I got was soviet era propaganda alluding to government takeover.
