Great presentation. I learned a lot I did not know about him as a person and his family. Thanks.

Consider Tiffany was my 7th great-grandfather. His father, Squire Humphrey Tiffany, started the family line in the U.S. having come from England in the 1600s-- one of the early passengers on the Winthrop Fleet that followed the Mayflower. I'm Canadian but would love to visit the Tiffany clan still in Connecticut.

New London was my Mom's hometown. My brother was also born in New London and I was born in Groton but we left Connecticut when I was 2 for California and I was raised out here on the West coast. I loved going back to CT to visit family over the years.

Thank you for this lovely account of the Tiffany family history. I had not known of their connection to Connecticut.

Very well presented. The curator has a wealth of knowledge. Not only of the installation, but also how the Tiffany’s were connected to New London and CT. Thank you

Really enjoyed this exhibition. Jan Beekman's work is beautiful and evocative. The galleries at the Lyman Allyn provide the perfect backdrop and the show will leave one with a sense of peace. The permanent collection is great too. Thanks.

We have wonderful musicians just next door to us! Please enjoy this harp and flute duo from the United States Coast Guard Band perform Debussy's "Maid with the Flaxen Hair" recorded in our Palmer gallery. Laurie Baynard is on Flute and Megan Sesma is on Harp. Thanks to Andrew Wilson for recording it.
