I just got a matrix in the mail yesterday So I should set my line output on the matrix first? And then gain match my amplifiers?

Yes set up the output on the matrix first, then gain match your amplifiers. You got this, you will notice the sound difference.

@ thank you for responding! That’s what I thought I should do, thank you for confirming, because it made sense to me. I’m 47, been doing car audio, and home audio since I was 15 years old. I’m not like my good buddy who damages equipment…I’ve never blown a speaker, unless it was on purpose for fun I have too much invested to destroy it How much gain did you notice with the matrix? Because I know between the source unit, through the cable, there will be voltage drop. I’m planning an Audio Control DM-810 DSP next. Also I liked your setup I had a lovely Fosgate amp I bought in 1996 But unfortunately I let it go I also had a Skar RP-1500, but it didn’t do too well with a sealed enclosure, now I’m ported on a stroker with a SounDigital 3k

Skar has a special place in my heart. I remember starting with the evl 18 ,zvx 15s and my first ddx 15 this yr. For the money its hard to beat however slapz might be the new contender for the same price.

I've done the same as you described. I tapped into the speaker cables from the pillars. If I change the balance on my headset to the extreme right the sub stopps playing. Have i messed up?

I love mine. It's a good HD rear view camera. Can't see behind me very good in my SRX so I mounted the Wolfbox camera with the Wolfbox mirror screen, (I removed the stock rear view mirror and used the Wolfbox mirror install kit. Looks factory and I can see everyting behind me know. I wired it to stay on all of the time. Best add on I've ever bought.

I ran Skar for 4yrs. No issues at all and always got compliments on how good it sound. Proper tuning can go a long way.

@djronthemechanic3695 oh ok. My bo is set too 32hz and I believe i have the amp set around that 32maybe a bit higher than 32 but I'm going off sound. I dont have the tools needed to adjust them accordingly

I have 2 Digital design redline 600 series 12s, d4 vc, paired with a skar rp2k. It bumps hard for what it is and I beat the shit out them daily. Almost 4 years now. Bought them all brand new during covid and never had any issues at all. Skar is a good product line. People like what they like.

Those subs actually handle a 3k pretty well. I pushed them for about half an hour, giving them an entire Taramps Bass 3k and they didn't even flinch. Surprised the hell out of me.

Had the same subs for about a year and a half on clean power taramps bass 3k they slap good and super reliable never had trouble with them
