Try to get yourself some “createx” airbrush paint. The stuff your trying to paint with is model paint. It’s a lot thicker than regular airbrush paint. The createx is easy to use, reduce, and get a good consistent flow.

I ended up redoing it because I didn't follow the written crl as closely as I should have I did it more based off the picture. I fixed it now and it looks even better, but the CRL needs to be updated. IMO

you put toothpaste on the armor before you paint the blue on, then wipe it off

Would it be simpler if we could just order our clone armor the way they do it in the military? Just get sized, get your issued armor and begin Trooping!!! Just saying...

wow its looking really good! and to be 501st approved does it have to be cut in half and held by magnets or can you have one you just slip on? I know to be like 100% accurate it has that neck seal at the bottom
@smglennon7 жыл бұрын
it does not have to be magnets to be 501st approved. for level two certification you need the enclosed neck seal thats why I left it on and cut the face. I did not want a giant open hole on the bottom
@ChatsWorth_Hobbies7 жыл бұрын
Sean Glennon ahh gotcha I agree it looks much better with the neck seal
