Good Layering Video. Like the honesty about the problems with some of the zippers and things that you see as an issue with some of your kit. To many people just love their stuff to love the brand. And the Gila top is pronounced Hila only know that because born and raised in Az where Gila is used a lot.

@Jadegoodman15 thanks for the feed back! I'll be sure to pronounce it correctly from now on! I hear ya on the brand bandwagoners. To be fair, I have been guilty of it too at times. I just want to be as neutral as possible and give honest reviews of my experiences with kit to help hunters out. Thanks for watching the video! Means a lot!

What is your new favorite pant?
@lonepinephantom29 күн бұрын
@Tyler_Mattson I'm trying out stone glaciers de havilland pant this fall. I've only worn them around a little bit so far though. Not enough for me to feel comfortable to give a direct overview or review yet. I do talk about them a bit in my new layering system video I just released.

Also want to know what color? And have you contacted Kuiu since they have a lifetime warranty?
@lonepinephantomАй бұрын
It's their bourbon color. I have reached out and was referred to sending it to a second party tailor. I do not remember or have the message to refer word for word for but the zipper was not under the warranty or something to that effect.

@@lonepinephantom dang I really thought they would have helped you out. I have had great service from Kuiu customer service. Great pants though, I have a couple pair that I love.

I love the materials they use and how the pants are constructed. It's just the zippers that drive me nuts on all of their products.

Thanks a bunch for helping Idaho's elk, deer, and moose. That is a beauty. I got my first 90lb male this winter and there were so many wolves in that drainage, which I could have gotten another one. We haven't seen a moose now there in three years when they used to be fairly common sight. The Frank was where the reintroduction took place near the area we used to hunt elk. Now there are so few elk.

Thanks! That's awesome to hear you got one! It's crazy how much they have changed the landscape in so many of the areas they are in. I hear your sentiment loud and clear. I grew up living and hunting in these places it's made many areas much harder to find animals for sure!

Will the jacket keep me warm in like 40 degrees with just a tshirt underneath ?
@lonepinephantomАй бұрын
It should if you're moving around. If you're in colder weather than that. I would definitely recommend a second layer underneath.

What color are those pants? Are they pretty stretchy?
@lonepinephantomАй бұрын
It's their bourbon color. They are very stretchy. As tight as these pants fit I was able to move without feeling constricted.

Congratulations. My wife was able to harvest one almost the exact same color in Frank Church one spring we were in there.

too big and too heavy!!??

No not at all. With everything including rifle, the pack runs about 30 to 35 pounds. Then with food added for a 10 day hunt it's around 50 pounds. I usually try to keep food roughly around 2lbs per day.
