Hi, I am Bosnian from the Netherlands and I just ordered my first EV but I am getting a bit stressed out about the charging possibilities in bosnia towards Sarajevo. Where in Sarajevo did you find those charging stations? in the parking of a mall? and most important how did you found them. Via an EV app/map or just by coincidence? Cheers

@@patrikogric2477 hey there! True Bosnia isn’t so easy but if you would like a good way to find charging points outside of Europe I would recommend PlugShare. You’ll find a high majority of charging points here and even with some comments. The one in Sarajevo was in the underground carpark across from the city hall. But PlugShare will show you possibly a few more you can access. Some may be restricted as they are eg for hotel guests only. If you’re planning on driving to Sarajevo I recommend you drive through Europe with a charging card that covers all of Europe like the one from Elli www.elli.eco/en/b2c/products/tariffs With the Elli app there is a fast charger at the border of Slovenski Brod and I crossed the border there. Would recommend this as you can get your battery very full and then it’s a very efficient drive into Sarajevo due to the relatively low speed limit of 80kmh or so. Congratulations on your first EV it’s a challenge at first but then super easy, especially in Central Europe

Hello! I would recommend using Elli: www.elli.eco/it/clienti-privati/prodotti/tariffe-di-ricarica Great coverage of all major CPOs in Italy and including Ionity and Ewiva the best fast charging networks in Italy at a good price in the Selected Partner Tariff

Good day thanks for sharing your experience. How did you use the ENEL fast charger? With the app or with the ENEL RFID card? or else? Will leave for Tuscany with the Jag I Pace later this week just would like to know if the app is reliable as the RFID didnt arrive yet at my home address...

I used the Audi e-tron charging service card. This gets us access to all the chargers on ENEL X (or most anyway). So I’m not sure how the app works. My only advice I toscana would be to be very careful with the enel AC chargers in parking garages.... they are listed as available but the attendants don’t let you use them. This is a problem. Some enel chargers are also blocked by the city councils and only for eScoorers. DC chargers are much more reliable. But we noticed that only one car at a time can charge on the dual DC/AC units. So if a Zoe charges on AC, you can’t use DC. Happened to us twice and was annoying. Good luck on your trip, of you have a backup plan for each charger, you should be fine

Hi, did the trip and it was no trouble whatsoever. My The New Motion/Shell Recharge card worked fine on my ENEL stops in Italy and with regular rates! (3x fast charger, one city charge in Pisa at a standard charge pole on the curb). What I really noticed on the way back is that I got home much more relaxed than on previous trips. I think due to a few 30-45 min stops and having some proper food or a nice walk and talk i.o. just munching something while racing out of the petrol station...also it is much safer this way. .And I met some very interesting people at the charge stops. Charged at our destination Agriturismo with the trickle charge lead using a good secure 3 pin adapter for the italian socket. Driving Autobahn, Alpine region and the Tuscan hills is just fantastic with an EV. My Jaguar I Pace did really well. Pre-conditioned and at 100 % charge my first leg was 332 km to the first Ionity and I still was left with 7%. In NL max speed during the day is 100km/h and in Germany up to that point max 120. Germany and Switzerland are well covered with HPC's. In Italy one just has to look prior the trip for Ionity and Enel X fast chargers. I tested the top speed in South Germany, where it was allowed, a few times and that of course reduces the range quite a bit. But he, life can be fun as well....I hope my story will help others with making a decision to take the EV on holiday. I hear from friends that in France Ionity had some issues and they were in some trouble during the trip.......with all the Izvizia charger turned off it is a bit of a nightmare there still this year.

Ferd Keun great news Ferd! Love reading your story. You’re actually right, I came back and was far more relaxed than usual too.... I never actually thought about this as a massive benefit! What’s the point of going on holiday to relax when your trip back leaves you feeling stressed again!!! We have reflected on our trip and many of our friends have said it would of been a very stressful trip with all that driving (ignoring if in an EV or ICEV) but as you say, at no point was o stressed during the drive..... maybe only when we struggled to get access to a few destination chargers we were set on. But I can’t wait for my next long distance trip in an EV. Keep spreading the word out there Ferd :)
