thanks. technically speaking I think it's better to have no gain, less channels for the signal to travel through before reaching the amp/speakers.

hard to say as it's down to personal preference, so what's slow/fast to me might not be to you. however what I can say is that not all the knobs use the same pots. the isolator + channels + master knobs are Alps Alpine RK27 (a bit slower/tighter) and all the other ones are a different brand (faster).

This makes it easier to cut the frequency's as the knobs are bigger and more spaced apart and should sound better too when cutting and adding volume etc.

@@sassetMusic Go to Condessa's Facebook page. They do a comparison between the 2 pole and the 4 pole. The 4 pole is vicious! But the 2 pole is more musical :)

Yes, replaced my Omnitronic with this one. They've released a couple of new improved versions of this one, MK3 I believe and maybe one more, they're worth looking at. Even MK2 that has its WTFs, I believe is a great budget rotary that for its money does the job.

exactly, that's correct, at 12 o'clock you hear both channels at the same time, once you start turning it towards 8-10 o'clock you hear only channel one and towards 2-4 channel two.
