How do you use the gps? Is that steer motor controlled??

The steering wheel motor assembly is called an ATU200 from Deere and it’s hooked up to the 2630 Deere monitor. Does That answer your question?

@@NEBertaFarming yup that sounds about right, I was thinking on adding a gps to my swather but I wasn’t sure if to go for a wheel motor assembly or for hydraulic connection

The hydraulic ones would be sweet. Not sure how easy it is to retrofit hydraulic ones on older swathers though.

I’ve been fishing 3-4 times in my life and only been hunting with buddy’s as a ride along. lol. Never seem to have to hunt/fish.

If I had to guess Probably about 50-70% done on average. Some guys are finished and some just started.

What variety of corn seed are u planting? Pretty cool to see guys being able to plant Corn for so far up in Alberta. I planted 50 acres of pr1017 for my dairy cows. Farming in the Fraser valley of bc.

This variety is called Catt Corn. It’s an Open Pollinated corn we get out of MB. Before this we used to grow various RR corn hybrids. It helps that we get very long days in the summer, so that makes up for our short seasons.

Absolutely we can. Just depends which vehicle you’re in. Some can’t pick up AM worth a darn others pick it up clear as a bell.

Shouldn’t the Steiger be on grain cart and the deutz can run the auger 😂

Both tractors are 1000pto but the auger is 540…..and the Steiger has enough oomf it can run the auger at an idle and still have enough hydraulics to run the televeyor.

I was told make sure the spears are installed square (flat side up) and not like a diamond with the point up top… Suooosed to make em stronger 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes you’re right on installing them square and not diamond! It’s hard to tell but these are square once you get about 1/2 ways down the spear.

I have been infatuated with the 1770 since I learned about them. I have a little Belarus 250 and I like it a lot. Thank you for posting this video. I will keep looking for more from you. I checked out the Nebraska tractor test results and it seems to be a fuel efficient machine inspite of it's somewhat antiquated design.

We had similar temperatures down south in Coutts....
