Question! If I am NOT licensed or certified (meaning I haven't gotten a degree nor have I completed the CMBT exam) is it possible to still have a career/start my own practice? Like what if I'm just as educated and am getting legitimate results from patients but don't have the degree? Sorry if this seems like a silly question. Im genuinely interested in this as a purpose but don't quite agree with some of the boards methods, and practices, as well them being forthcoming to the general public about how powerful this is. Also i don't have the money haha:)

In alpha order A C D E G is known in the West as the A minor Pentatonic (5-note) scale. Can start from any note to get a diff vibe.

Really appreciate the honesty as someone who is thinking about music therapy in the future. Sorry to hear about equality and diversity not being prevalent. Sounds frustrating, challenging and dissapointing. Thank you again & Best wishes!

I like the vibe of the song but the one lyric “goodbye to music” rubs me the wrong way because music is always there when everyone and everything else is gone, so it sends the client a wrong message.

Thank you for your feedback. After watching your video, it tells me that it's very important to obtain sales skills along with this career. As it requires a lot of self selling and advocacy on why it's very important based on your experience to have these individuals use your services. Best wishes on your journey in your career.

Homophobia is not a phobia in psychology. It is a term used by people with a particular cultural bias to oppress people whose cultural tradition holds that homosexuality is immoral. To use that term is the opposite of cultural humility. It is to oppress another group.

Thank you for sharing your insights and experience about your journey, I'm so grateful to have stumbled across your channel! I have had such a crazy journey with music myself, including traumatic panic attacks and deteriorating mental health. I dropped out of my vocal performance degree and, after a few years of wandering, returned to school to pursue my Bachelor's in social work. Still, I really miss music and feel the call to return after a much needed break, but don't know where to start. Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to binging the rest of your videos, so thank you for restoring hope that one day, I'll return to my love of music and share with everyone else.
