Received it in the post today. I have removed the Megajolt system and this is the replacement. I became totally fed up with the MJ and PC refusing to communicate just when an mot comes round and I need to reduce hydro carbon or I wanted to try to improve the ignition timing. Connecting up tomorrow so I shall see how we go but from what I've seen this is the simplest yet most adjustable controller available. Hope it proves to be

Have had one fitted for a while and it works great. Very easy to play around with different advance curves. Vacuum advance can be connected to the manifold and made to work as ported vacuum just by adjusting the rpm it starts at as shown in the video. Highly recommended piece of kit.

Hi, Thanks for the video! I have an MG TD, that hasn't got any advance fitted as standard. The information from the internet to obtain a vacuum supply is:- drill both SU H2 carburettors by the butterfly valve and fit a balance tube between the two vacuum supplies. My question is... You have taken your vacuum supply from the manifold, is there any advantage to taking the supply from the SU carburettors. This product seems ideal for adding vacuum advance to an MG TD with the bonus that it is British made. by the way... All three of my classic cars have AccuSpark ignition and also my Ariel Square four! I'm extremely happy with your products! Keep up the good work!

No advantage, you should just install takeoff from the most convenient place. As Blackbox comes with a built in vacuum gauge it can be calibrated to any value. You are correct this would be perfect for you . Thanks for your positive comments Tony

Multiple sparks will ignite your fuel at much lower RPM . This allows much better starting, efficient low RPM tick-over that will save fuel . In addition much faster RPM pick improving low RPM acceleration . Benefits will stop once out of the low RPM range and the system returns to a single spark . Hope this helps

If you have a traditional distributor ( as we have ) you just need a coil , spark plug , 3 pole - 2 position switch and some wire , if you have a ECU you will need to run through some sort of relay .

The 3 poles will be one in and two out . It will be a switch that has one common in from the distributor and two outs , one to engine coil and the other to flame coil , the switch will have 2 positions , Engine or flame, as you cannot run both at the same time .

Why did the fan come back on when you reversed the wires, after you cooled off the probe and the fan stopped? Did your cameraman turn the dial on the thermostat? We saw the fan stop because you put the probe in water and therefor the cold probe stopped power from going to fan, but yet when you reversed polarity the fan all of a sudden it had power again.

ok, so i have proven spark, but my 2nd trigger box, now sit about 90 degree from the 1st box placement, I installed dizzy so rotor points at the same cylinder ( 180 off key nissan dizzy) not running, can some one do a video on this, what it sounds like and the solution

put the cunt on tdc and retime the dizzy. how hard is it. the dizzy will rotate on install so time it back a few degrees.

I bought one of your complete kits with vac advance. I’ve just got around to fitting it on my recon engine. There’s no mark on these that I can see for cylinder 1 and after turning the engine over, no 1 cylinder doesn’t sit in the factory position. Is this right?. It’s more at 60 degrees from the rear tin.

I have a 1600 dual port--with dual weber 40 idf carbs...I have the Pertronis flamethrower II---but drawing the vacuum off of only 1 carb has made it difficult to time correctly. I noticed you are using duals---words of wisdom on vacuum advance on only 1 carb????
