Asslm u alikum sir, .. i am confused about synthetic and A posterior.. chair is soft .. it gives us information about chat to us But if i put it in A posterior it also seems fit here because we can't say something about the chair until we experience it.. Please give a look to the question.. i cannot call you.. i am from Pakistan neither i have your number... 😢

The statement "The chair is soft" is both a synthetic and a posteriori judgment. It is synthetic because the predicate "soft" adds new information that isn't contained within the concept of the chair itself. You cannot know a chair is soft just by thinking about what a chair is; you need to experience it. It is also a posteriori because this knowledge comes from sensory experience-specifically, you need to touch or observe the chair to know its softness. Therefore, it fits both categories as it provides new knowledge through experience.
