I am so so sorry for your loss. I understand the pain. Just a week ago my sweet kitty passed away unexpectedly and tragically in my arms. I found her head first in her litter box and took her out in shock and it all went downhill after that. I tried to keep her around until the vet opened and stayed up nearly all night with her checking on her so she wouldn't fall again. Making sure she stayed in her bed. Unfortunately, she passed away right when the vet opened. I have been heartbroken. Its very difficult to lose her I feel sad everyday. Her spirit is around and I bet your cats is to. All you gotta do is speak to her while you are thinking of her and ask her to visit you and she might show up and surprise you. My gut feeling told me she wasn't going to make it to the vet. I understand your dilemma because I didn't want to rush her to the vet in her cat carrier while she was dying, but I also didn't want her in pain. She did pass away pretty fast so I guess it could have been worse. Its always difficult to say goodbye to someone we love. I told her I loved her and she was my everything. I was with her until her last breath. After she passed I balled and I screamed. Nothing wrong with loving your cat. Thank you

sorry for yout loss . i know this video is kind of old. but i went through this with my boy of 10 years 2 months ago. we caught his kidney disease at the late stage. and hewas basically getting worse. we used lap of love to come to our home and he passed peacefully. i have some guilt but at the same time im not sure id want to see him suffer for too long and then get seizures had we kept him another day or two more. he wasnt eating anymore. and lost 4-5 pounds. I miss my Michi so much.

We love them like our family. They are our kids or siblings. My brother, sisters, and I received a Siamese kitten when I was 7. They were 5, 4, and 2. His name was Gargamel. I often called him Garg. We lost dad to cancer when I was 15 and as the oldest, I had to step up. All of us worked hard to help mom take care of us and after graduating high school at 17, I followed in the family tradition by enlisting in the USMC. This removed a hungry mouth from home and allowed me to earn more money to send home. I made a point of visiting Garg whenever I came home on leave. At 30, mom called me and said Garg wasn’t doing well. I had another leave coming up and my wife and I went straight to him a week later. We spent my entire leave with him. Garg died in my arms at the age of 23. That was 21 years ago and I remember him like yesterday. I’ve had many pets since him, but he was my first. I think he waited for me. I don’t know. RIP Garg. RIP Mici. We will always love you. ❤😔

Ive lost too many over the past few decades. I understand the pain more than I want to. So sorry about your poor girl. It was hard to put down my 20 year old. It was hard to put any of them down. One died in my arms at home once. That was awful to witness. I have another one now. And I know one day I will have to make a decision again. I try not to think about that very much, but I am older too now. We 2 are the only family we have. That makes it that much harder I think. Just love the ones you have. Take care of them the best you can.

I know this video is 3 years old, but it showed up on my feed now...I laid my cat to rest last Friday (8th March 2024) she was a British Shorthair who had developed an aggressive bowel cancer, she was 10.5 years old.. And on the day she was put to sleep i took her home so her step sisters could see her and understand that she didn't leave them without her final goodbye... They seemed to understand, and both of them sat with her for a while before i had wrapped her up in her favorite blanket with her cat nip mouse... And then I buried her in the back garden. I'm planning to create a memorial for her so she can see the sunrise and the butterflies every morning. i totally feel your pain, its fucking brutal the grief inside, I will never get over the loss of her, but I have to be strong and focus on my other two younger cats who are grieving their big step sister.. Unfortunately when we become a pet parent we sign up for heartbreak later on since their lives are much shorter than ours. But take solace in knowing that they are a gift to us as we are to them, and to give them an amazing life of love, laughter and safety. I wish you well... RIP sweet one.

awwwwww so sorry to hear that,My Family Cat being put down this afternoon,Its coming up for 19 years old,Got tumor in its eyes,cancer in the stomach,I nearly broke down last night,Then got home,Did break down a bit 😥😢😭😭😭😭 all im doing now keeping my chin up and getting on with my life as life goes on
