Only problem is that it's a door frame from the lounge, not a door! I presume the rules call it a door though?

Totally fair. I think that’s why I prefer 3 players. Every 3 player game I am in seems to be less combative.

I got into boardgames a couple years ago. Thought it would be something I could do with my family. I didn't know at the time that you had to be a fkn genius to learn these things. Out of about 15 games that I have, the only one that I'm smart enough to comprehend and play, was Rails and Sails😅😂😅😂 I wanted to get into God of War, or Warhammer, but I learned two things about it. One,,, you have to be RICH to buy all the stuff for the game. 2, You have to be a freaking genius to learn how to play. I'll stick to the ole xbox.

Clever, and awesome art. I always wanted to be a Pharmacist prescribing 1800's science. If I mess up, nothing a little morphine won't take care of, right? Where did I put those leeches anyway? Oh, they died? I can learn from that if I just steal the body and use it for research! Sweet theme!!

Wife and I both did stamp collecting in 4-H out west. I think we both did it more because our parents thought it was good for us. Haha. Cool idea for a game though.

Great question! We did consult with Priestess Miriam Chamani of the New Orleans Voodoo and Hoodoo Spiritual Temple about the history and differences of both Hoodoo and Voodoo in the 1800s, visited the New Orleans Voodoo Museum and talked to the staff about questions we had, as well as read recommended books and articles such as Voodoo & Hoodoo by Jim Haskins, and all of these guided our carefully crafted, game-ified, representation of the role through a lens that shows Voodoo without the common disrespectful trappings frequently displayed by the media. Hopefully, that satisfies your concerns regarding our project, but we're here if you have further comments.

I love this game, but we added a house rule where every player draws 1 extra card at the start and always keep 4 cards in theor hand. Play 3 each turn and bank 1 for the next round. In the final round of the game, each player plays their final card anywhere they want. This adds a little more strategy as players can save 1 card each round and make 1 final play at the end.

I really love the theme of SETI, so I hope it’s a good game (it’s the only one from this list that I’ve preordered from my FOGS)! I’ve heard a lot of good buzz about Spectacular, so that’s also on my radar. I like a lot of Suchy’s games, so I’m quite interested in Resafa, but my game group sadly hasn’t shared my taste for his games. I really like Beyond the Sun, so I’m looking forward to Beyond the Horizon. Minos also looks good (I’ve liked the last couple of games Stan Kordonskiy has designed). I definitely need to get rid of some games before I add more of these to my collection. I sold a couple yesterday, so I’m making a little progress :D

Interesting. Adventure games now take a whole cube each. That would be so tough to chose. However, I could put so many pocket games (e.g. Button Shy) and tiny boxes like Grove, 20 Strong and the recent Solo game of the month series. I would be happy with those and could fit 50 games 😆
