Excellent review thank you. I took up the oboe just five months ago at the grand age of 58! I know what you mean about reeds getting stuck. How I overcome this problem is by using cork grease before I put the reed in the oboe, and that works fine.

Thank you for the great video. Really simple and easy to use. Additionally, it really doesn't take all that much to get your mouthpiece stuck in the horn. Good piece of advice by telling students to not bring the trumpet home and to have the mouthpiece pulled with a puller.

Have you tried those full brass staples with no cork, just silicon O rings.

Did you get the standard or pro reed?
