I learned to play the fiddle uding Rudy's tapes. His brother was also a great fiddler.

I,ve just discovered this. What can one say. This is real jazz, and a side of these two musicians that we,ve not heard before. Powrie obviously liked Australia. Yes, the box playing is good. Thanks for this. Frank in Bristol.

I heard this fantastic piece, i reckon 30 years ago, when i was only a young lad. My grandfather was Donal Ring Snr, and I was at his house here in Cork Ireland, tuned in to a crackling BBC radio scotland on a Saturday evening listening to the brilliant scottish box players. This track was played and has always stuck in my head. I didn't remember the name, and by chance tonight i have stumbled on this. Brilliant playing, thanks for sharing 😊

Thanks for the comment, Robert & Duncan are 2 brillianiant box players. I have afew of your Grandfathers CDS which he sent me not long before he died. I was with hospital radio for nearly 40 years and just retired from there, earlier this year. Carrying on doing my own thing on mixcloud though, you can see promos to my shows on my main page. Take care ☺
