I come from Germany and spent 10 years and 7 months in many prisons in Germany. It was harder than in this series. I was in a psychiatric hospital for 48 months of that. Horror is no longer an expression. But with tears I say it was so cruel endless...I can't think of words to describe how bad this is. My name is Reiner Elias and I was in prison for 10 years and 7 months.

I think I will find this and watch it. I didn't like the acting in Twilight, but the directing and writing were horrible so there wasn't anything good to work with anyway. She seems like at least an okay actor here if not good (not enough scenes for me to decide for my own opinion), definitely not bad!

11:04 my favorite moment of the show that makes me SMILE is when SuZanne and Cindy pretend to do sign language. That is some quick thinking that only true connected souls could pull off. It added that warm feeling for just a moment then u feel that bitter cold reality of that scene.

This show has helped open so many peoples eyes. Myself big time. I never grew up around people in the system…I never had any family, friends etc who even went to jail. (Well except my uncle, he was a bank robber in the 1950-1960’s) pretty impressive, he never killed anyone…he was just a really good bank robber for a decade. Never going after the big banks , he targeted the smaller banks… easy pickings. Lol how funny i just remembered this. So still, this show opened my eyes to a whole new perspective. This show gets my every emotion.
