Im surprised tyrant scooped at the end with 3 redirects. It also looked like magnax didnt activate his eff at the end so ruin mode wouldn't have been strong enough to punch over tyrant. Unless im missing something

From my testing, Tyrant is a REALLY cool deck, but can't really keep up with Nume nor get over MagnaX. Bugz just cant go wide or tall fast enough

Glad birds won, but frankly, it's because MagnaX Vaccine didn't know what he was doing. Generally speaking, it's not the greatest idea to place MagnaX in Sec because the only way to evolve into it would be with the 1 cost option when you have a Level 5 out. You want your Level 4s in Sec so you can guarantee the digivolve with Patamon or pay 1 Mem from any other Level 3.

if you are talking about game 2, did you not see it was a fully bricked hand... had 2 magna X in hand and didn't see a lvl 4 the entire game. game 1 yes couple of misplays from greed and knowledge check against birds.

Game 2 as well, you got super high rolled that forced you to recover so much lost resources by turn 2 which definitely didn't help matters. The game flips completely on its head if the Pillowmon was a Patamon instead as you'd find the Rapidmon before it got removed from security.

@@KnTElixar For the most part, with MagnaX, it shouldn't have left the field at all once it was up. There's so many ways to keep its protection active. There are a few deck building choices that would have also helped, such as using Shuu Yulin to gain Alliance and Reboot in order to be more offensive with MagnaX.

@@SB0083 yes and no You don't tend to use Shuu in Vaccine Armour at all, that's the veemon playstyle, and yeah magna gets protection from the patas, but we saw that surprisingly there were no 4s in sec so that took out the protection turns, which is what makes you liable to getting popped by Garuda Ace. If you can't preemptively proc protection magna gets shot a lot The matchup defo lives and dies by your ability to keep magnaX on field tho agreed

If your opp blast digivolve into your dragon bt16, the effect of the dragon mode and the when evo of the opp blastevo triggers at the same time, but because you are the turn player you can resolve first this bottom deck your opponents ace before they can resolve their when evo eff

15:08 The Paildramon should not have been able to attack. It was the only opposing digimon on board when the BT-16 Ankylomon was digivolved into. Ankylomon's On Play/When Digivolving: 1 of your opponents digimon can't attack players until the end of turn.

At the 9 minute mark, bugs had digivolved into Shiva the previous turn so surely the vikemon swing would've passed turn because losing memory when suspended due to Okuwamon effect on board

diaboromon ex06 counter tyrant, if he plays a digimon by effect, diaboro can play a token on opponent turn, and infer will de-digivolve tyrant, before the turn ends

13:25 Shakkoumon can't put a level 4 into security there. With no cards in Shakkou's security and 1 card in Tyrant's security, Shakkou can't send anything to security.

The first shakkoumon was jogressed wrong. It should have been ankylomon stack and then angemon. When dnaing the first color has to be on top and the second color has to be on bottom. It doesn't super matter but if you are going against source stripping it becomes really important

Build Shakk toolbox on my side, love seeing the representation. Only thing that did shift the game a fair bit is that at 5:53, this shakk is the evo line from a Pata played via the tamer, so when it eventually blasts, at the end of opponent's turn it should bounce back to hand. Great stuff otherwise though, love seeing the decks duke it out!

When you dna it is treated as a new digimon so it will no longer be returned to hand thats what makes these new tamers so good

Learning new cards causes a lot of misplays and weird games but it was fun. Shakko is a threat for sure and i cant wait to show people more of that deck. Im sure someone in the comments is gonna say that we did this wrong or that wrong but its locals and remember, we are learning what cards do.

Shakkou is cool (especially as they keep printing yellow/black cards) but feels like the real threat is Cody/TK. Free De-Digivolve slices through a lot of protection from DIgimon effects.

Hopefully our next local will be bt16 proper, asmodee are being very awful about the delays, if product gets in by Wednesday and we can play without proxies, the pilot will do a deck profile If not then the week after 😭
