Wow! This is the most worthless how to video ever. If you don’t want to speak then get someone else to do it. I think anyone that has one of these engines knows how to turn that stick-thing but may not know what the pointing actually does. I don’t know why I am wasting my time commenting

Bellissimo video, semplice nella sporgazione. In pratica bisogna lasciare gioco tra la leva e il perno delle masse.

I did this twice and took tension off spring by bending arm up but still runs real fast. Is governor inside engine the problem? I can hear the arm stop inside engine.

@@rf5101 It turns out the governor arm got bent when the rod went out. I decided to get a new arm when I ordered the new governor and old governor arm would not slide out. I had to tap it out. It was stuck wide open. I put it back together. I resealed the pin that holds the cam in place also because it was leaking. I will let you know how it turns out.

Thank you very much. I was working on one of these that someone gave me and knew nothing of what they did to it. I replaced carb and it then started to run but wide open. Looks like they adjusted the governor in efforts to get it to run. With the help of this vid and one from @Steve’s small engine saloon Got it right. 🍻 cheers

THE PRINCIPLE OF THE REGULATOR is as follows:As soon as the engine starts up, the regulator (and its weights that operate with centrifugal force) located in the engine, acts on the output axis and systematically brings the gas flap "to low speed"the idle screw used as a stop, but depending on the position of the lever turtle or hare the regulator spring (precisely rigged) more or less tense has the opposite effect of counteracting this movement which tends to go towards the idle and therefore "regulate" the engine speed that is expected, maximum,to 3600 trs for these HONDA engines and to 3000 trs mn on the old BRIGGS AND STRATTON and 2800 trs generally for the "Chinese engines"

I saw Mountain on the bill @ Knebworth 1985; you sound like Leslie West did that day, great power tones! How about something off "Go for your Life"? I see from the wall socket you are in the U.S.; that's a pity, we would play well together!

I can tell it sounded good in real life, but from here it sounds like you routed the line out to one of those Mini-Twins with 2X2" speakers. Cam's fault, not yours. It was good, though, thx for posting.
