I grew up in Frankfort I’m shocked how bad the pier has deteriorated and the condos on the beach is a tragedy. They allowed to happen. it’s definitely a beautiful place, but I don’t have any warm fuzzy memories of growing up there?

Wonderful to see. :) Brings back so much memories from my youth when I, from Sweden, worked as a camp conselour at Camp Crystal Lake the summers of 1997 an 1998. Camp is gone now but, Frankfort, Crystal Lake, Beulah, Benzie, Elberta, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and more and especially the drive-in Cinema Cherry Bowl. Wow! Thank you so much for this video. I will keep following your channel. :)

That burger is definitely medium well, almost well. Medium well should have some pink in the middle always. I thought the name sounded familiar because it’s in the same building as the Italian place food looked very good.

They should add some new things in there. Like a woolly mammoth and sabertooth tiger in the lobby, the northern lights with animals (🐺, 🐻, 🦅, 🦣, 🦌, 🦬, 🦡, 🦔,🦝, 🦫, caribou, moose, orca, and walrus).

Wow that’s a great idea! I do feel they could use a few water park additions and or activities for the kids. Parks like Kalahari seem to be innovating, they should too!

There is a nice Courtyard By Marriott just a mile away which is a favorite to many. I would suggest any that are set back off the road a bit to reduce road noise. You can always request the side facing away from the road if you wanted. But as for a full hotel/ resort anything by the water is a great choice but that isn’t close to the mall. Lived here most of my life except for college. I’m amazed it’s still doing as well as it is because it gets a lot of traffic. Unfortunately the economy just sucks rn to own a business

@@TraverseCityGuide No designated free parking spots in the downtown? Even Kalamazoo, Detroit and Grand Rapids have this now. This is part of being inclusive. You want your downtown to accommodate all people of different lifestyles and income levels. (be careful not to design the city into an elitist only city) Even some of the places that do have meters in downtown Kalamazoo, have a button on the backside that you could push to get your first 30 minutes for free. By the way, did you know that Holland and Kalamazoo downtown streets and sidewalks are all heated? (Holland has recently expanded into some of their residential neighborhoods) No need to salt or plow snow. Its called the snow melt system. Traverse city needs that because its could be a to go place to visit all year around, not just seasonal. Slowly it has been heading that direction and a snow melt system would only enhance Traverse City. One other thing: I will start to send your videos around the world so be sure to title "Traverse city, Michigan USA" because some may think its Europa or Canada. You may want to mention of how celebrities both live and some vacations in Traverse city. It is an amazing and unique city that attracts even the most notable. :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jne6q3d4bLyphKs
