Wish he’d lay off the “gap theory”, it isn’t Biblical and is constructed on extremely fanciful interpretations. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. All that says is God created the earth. It really doesn’t have anything to do with the creation process itself, just an overview and an acknowledgement that God did it. When he created it, the creation was good. He specifically says so, seven times. So God did not create the world without form. Genesis 1:2 The world became without form and the spirit of God moved over the waters. Again, that doesn’t have to do with the creative process. That tells of the fall of man and the introduction of sin into the system. That is how the world became without form and void. You might argue that the world still has order to it, and you’re right, but not where it matters. Physical order is one thing, spiritual order is everything. The earth has no spiritual order to it. The Holy Spirit is moving on the face of the waters to this day. But, but….it’s in past tense! To God, the entire Bible has already happened. Everything is past tense to God. It’s only in progress from our limited perspective! So God created the world and made it orderly and good. Then it became not good and disorderly. The first two verses of Genesis are an overview of all history, and then verse three picks up and tells the whole story in detail. And we see this all throughout Moses’s writings. He’ll say something like, “Abraham went to Egypt.” and then turn right around and say, “Abraham got up from his tent in Canaan, slaughtered a goat, washed his tunic, packed his bags, proceeded in a southerly direction and eventually came to meet Pharaoh.” It gives an overview of what happened and then starts at the beginning with specifics.

Jesus Christ is a Friend to the friendless. He is a Helper to the helpless. He gives freedom to the addicts. He loves the unloved. He accepts the outcasts. He changes the unchangeable. He forgives the unforgivable. He accomplishes the impossible. He saves sinners. He seeks the lost. He gives direction to the aimless. He gives hope to the disillusioned. He gives Truth to the confused. He gives joy to the depressed. He gives purpose to the purposeless. He gives hope to the hopeless. He redeems and He renews.

Wonderful lecture!!! However, Dr. Missler is too interested in 20th Century science to grasp that the earth is said to be "fixed" in Job, Isaiah, Psalms, Hebrews, Peter, etc. etc. We are NOT moving...unless you believe NASA over the bible.
