This interview was all kinds of wonderful. I still have the Beat Generation album on CD so much amazing music coming out of BBE and other record labels at the time. Great performance Mark, and Dwight, and everyone in this band. This performance is as vital as any recording I've ever heard. I met Dwight very briefly in November 1997 when Bertha Hope took me to hear Dwights band at Billy Higgins "World Stage" , , after a Kenny Burrell concert in the now de-funct "Jazz Bakery" That was quite an experience at the World Stage that night. Changed part of me forever.
