Outstanding interview....Specially when Hotton Sensei mention that make of Karate your Karate. His line of thinking and mine are pretty similar. And on todays traditional Karate most practitioners wont cross the line and start looking for their personal way of training . In my case I train in Goju Ryu a system that I consider that has been damage or prostituted because of the amount of different Goju Systems. And there is a big difference in finding your own Karate and founding your own Goju System... Once again congratulations on such great interview to the host and to Hotton Sensei....Oss

I like listening to Hotton Sensei. He is intelligent and open minded. He is one of the few shotokan instructors who openly studies aikido. He does not divorce one practice from the other and this is both refreshing and common sense.

Great interview. The host did a great job of allowing the guest to express himself. The music was distracting and took away from the conversation. Not necessary.
