Straight up, the regular platinum is better looking with the Dark Appearance package. And frankly the cost for what amounts to cross stitched seating surfaces isn’t worth it to have to deal with non-blacked out headlights. The satin trim is nice, but this truck was meant to look its best with the Dark appearance package IMHO. The platinum Plus just doesn’t make sense IMHO from a cost vs looks perspective.

The explorer doesnt have 5 star safety and im sure a family that want a nice safe suv is not going to care about horsepower, thats why my family bought the traverse

The Ford Explorer is also significantly smaller on the inside only seating 7 people max.

+Sergio Velasco I would beg to differ on that, I drove all three before finally deciding on the explorer. The max capacity inside was not enough to be to be noticeable let alone be a deciding factor. Not to mention the explorer far exceeds in handling and drivability, keep in mind we switched from the 2013 Cadillac srx.

Nick Glenn Yeah, you're right about those points, but as a member of a family of 6 and 2 dogs, I couldn't sacrifice that extra seat. Apart from that, the extra horse power and comfort made me choose the Traverse.

522 that was a special order custom, so vehicles vary depending on the modifications. That was a fun truck to see RAD-Rides.com build. Taurus all the way for me....That impala is just "ghetto ugly". The Taurus is a mean muscle car with a great design...plus all of the recalls...no way! sorry chevy.

Pretty typical Ford by comparing a Walrus Limited against a Avalon XLE instead of a Limited, which is a much nicer car the the Walrus Limited.

The video uses information available from the manufactures at the time the video was created. In the video, it specifically says the 2014 Toyota Avalon was not yet available, but wanted to offer the most up-to-date information that was available for people to review.

Prestige Garland What does that have to do with what I wrote? The 2013 Toyota Avalon was available in Limited trim, as is the 2014 model (and are the same car as almost no changes were made), Ford just didn't want a fair comparision because it would look bad. Simple.
