I remember going to Qingyuan in the early 2000's. I loved it there and people treated me well because I spoke cantonese and in those times hardly any foreigners went there. It looks much more developed now. I will probably go back some day.

I hike quite frequently in Hong Kong so we didn't do anything in particular to prepare. Most people struggle with the humidity and the descent on volcanic sand and do fine with the trekking if they are physically active. If you don't normally hike, I don't recommend starting with Rinjani.

Hi! Nice video. However there is a mistake. The refuge you stayed in is Giosos Apostolisis. The refuge in your text says refuge A (Spilios Agapitos) is 2h further. And the hike to mitikas from there is 3-5h.
