Is there an instrument on the dashboard that displays a digital number of how much charge the bus has left? This would be more useful than the large analog instrument. Thanx.

The cost of transporting feedstock materials or biogas may challenge the economic viability. It seems like it might make more sense to use combined heat and power (CHP) systems near biogas sources like farms, factories, and landfills so that electricity and heat (as hot water) are produced and used locally.

Have there been any more advances in the technology recently? Last time I looked into it was about the time of this video, but nothing was really available off the shelf for your generic 4 cylinder turbos or rotary engines and I have a couple of each.

You can tell he really doesnt know or care what he's talking about. I would have been able to relate to the customers and the techs. Dont just attempt to put on a show, but display your passion and effect.

and fuel cells cost $500K or more, H2 takes 4 times more energy than making electric direct into batteries. Making it from water will increase water issues. These make a Tesla look low cost.

@artsbest1 Autogas tanks are actually about 20x MORE puncture resistant than gasoline tanks, and autogas is non-toxic. As for the fuel efficiency stats you may have seen - those are calculated on a BTU basis, which is inaccurate for a comparison b/w vehicles. Because autogas has an octane rating of 104-105, the fuel achieves more complete combustion, thereby boosting efficiency to 90% of gasoline's mpg. Please visit our website for more information on autogas.

It's actually more "scientific" to rate fuel energy density by mass instead of volume. Propane releases 46.4 million joules of energy *per kilogram* when burned. Gasoline also releases 46.4 million joules of energy per kilogram when burned.
