reason behind why they broke character: “Ucey” or otherwise “Usi” is a term in Tongan. The Tongan and Samoan culture and language have a lot of similarities being that they’re right next to each other. This means as a people they both share some of the same practices and phrases. Hand in hand, Tongans know a lot of Samoan words as Samoans do Tongan words. So when Sami says “Ucey” or Usi, it was unexpected and had them laughing because now the whole world is going to be unknowingly chanting a curse word.
