I think this anastomosis could be done with two cartridges, rather than 4 as you've used. Fire one for the side to side first, and then another to seal both enterotomies together

can someone explain me, how is the lumen created? we have stapled the sides and then stapled the ends of the 2 bowels? thank you in advance

The stapler has a blade which cuts between the two staple lines, creating the lumen at the join - the shape is essentially a pair of trousers.

But where did the "CUT OFF" tissue (which was cut between the 2 suture lines to create the lumen) go ?? Because if the blade has cut the tissue it should have been removed also @@jonosoot
