thank you for this reasonable cheese strat. last playthrough i beat him legit (newborn ng+, murakumo build, no mediarahan skip, hard) so this playthrough i wanted to cheese him to get his essence and start the preparations for godborn hard. took me a couple of tries because of my own stupidity and bad luck with the magatsuhi gauge but when i got him it was clean. so again thanks for posting this

im guessing reflecting elizabeth's god's hand is necessary? if so, how come every time i reflect the god's hand, it never does a similar amount of damage it does in the video?

@@bothdoorscares3878 i tested on peaceful, and I tried using debilitate and marakunda, when it reflected it did around 270-300 damage to her. i wasn't sure if the difficulty mattered so i'll try changing the difficulty. thanks!

@@splodesvault more or less, damage dealt by enemies being weaker in lower difficulties translates to lower repel damages. Since repels are just calculated like the enemy casting the skill is hitting itself. It's pretty funny, in hindsight.

@@kaiserkreuz2110 Problem is getting through Shiva. Although it might be kinda easy, just have to kill a Deity demon during Samael. I think Dagda's best for this. I'm not sure how much HP Satan has there either, so it might not be a single burst turn.

@@bothdoorscares3878 Shiva is annoying but nothing too hard, Samael takes time too, but I can get to Satan in less than 10 minutes. Satan has 283210 HP, so it is possible if I get in with Savage and 5-6 PT.

@@kaiserkreuz2110 I believe you can really only have 5 for it if following this by the book. Hmmmm I don't think I can even do a Luminiscent Mirage for this. But it might still be possible. Although I'm not sure why you'd use Savage for it, Adversity's worth it for 3.4x damage I think.

@@kaiserkreuz2110 I'm confused, since Titania's dead and all. After eating, he should just either gather magatsuhi or use Megidolaon. And if it's the latter, Arioch with Endure could take it. Although if I have to guess, the damage wouldn't be enough even with Adversity. So the play's killing Hariti instead, burst turn with Savage, try to recover and setup again, then do an Adversity burst turn. Or perhaps do the Adversity burst turn regardless first. Hmmmmm.....if he does do Megidolaon, that's a chance to use Mirage.

@@Kimonia6 you need to do roughly 3K damage and let an entire turn rotation happen so you can hit Surt with King and I. You'll just do around 5.5-6K damage with King and I without Magic Mastery. Assuming Concentrate, Tarukaja and Rakunda on. It should be the same moves wise afterwards.

@@Kimonia6 I do have Magic Ability in mind. The sword I'm using has it. And it'll just do 5.5-6K damage without Mastery from what I calculated. She doesn't really hit that hard, it'll work well. More than likely, you'll be rarely hit if you follow the equipment loadout I have.

Is this fight more enjoyable on hard rather than heartlless since you can crit him? I think getting the "1 more" could help make a more consistent strategy maybe with using Yukari's buff Theurgy rather than relying on Fuuka RNG? Just a thought. On heartless mode this is definitely just an rng fest with absurd grind required to even attempt it.

@@TheWagn156 Define "enjoyable". Because you're going to just beat him within 1 set of turns in Hard Mode if you want a consistent strategy there. With criticals, you can just walk in with auto-charge and obliterate the guy (you go first) without him making a move. But you will still need St/Ma grinding on you and the members. Criticals allow you to skip engaging with the fight in general. It's really a grindy fight either way if going for consistency. The setup I do have here is consistent in beating the fight in Heartless if I wasn't aiming for 4 turns.

I'm just going to assume you're asking what Arahabaki does. Whatever effect is active on Arahabaki will be transferred to a demon the player switches in while he's in the party. This loop ensures that we can stack multiple Magatsuhi effects into Arahabaki. It is important that Arahabaki never leaves the party for this reason, the effects stacked on him will disappear. And the loop will stop, since Arahabaki will not transfer Strategize (And all the other effects) anymore. The demons being sacrificed constantly are there to build the Magatsuhi Gauge.

@@ivanbtj Potential's effect, for some reason, is not tied to the Omagatoki status itself. The Omagatoki: Potential effect is literally just a symbol, the skill itself is what raises the Potential values, and this is why OmaPotential's effect cant be passed on via Arahabaki's passive.

@@ivanbtj As the person above mentions, its the only Omagatoki effect (that we know of at the moment) that only does its effect on its activation. Arahabaki passing it on by switching in and out wouldn't give the actual effect, although you'll see Potential in the list of activated skills for the demon that's just switched in and out.

@@lucashuidobro5718 It would work, just that it'd be a bit harder and longer since Kaiwan is after killing 4 summoned demons. In practice though, an 8 press turn (7 full, 1 half) under 2 sets of turns kill is likely possible nowadays with the current knowledge and that'd be more consistent and easier to retry for. I guess I can show it at a later date.

Wow... the fight feels like a glacial slug, buuuut taking a look to this, it's a genius move that Demi-Fiend and co. can only watch how they slowly get KO'ed, it was genius the idea of having your own party members get KO'ed (of course safeguard is requiered to only consume the normal turn icons or half of an icon with that Magatsuhi skill enabled, because otherwise it ends your own turn), also Dagda and Danu's combo Magatsuhi allowing you with Strategize to keep the loop going for as long as you want, and let's be honest, even if it feels slow, if you can win the fight, it's a totally valid strategy.
