My bad! Hope it helps though! Let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to talk about.

Really good, 1 thing tho you rushed the rubato, the rubato is supposed to be slower/slowing down and you kinda rushed it. Great job though sounded amazing

The first rubato is slowing down the second is speeding up

What Tempo are you going at?

Try to breathe fuller to reach the spots were you can actually breathe instead on the tie notes. Try to be more musical by adding more vibrato like for example on the C half note in the beginning and going on NOT BREATHING, imagine it like you want to make if together without breaking the music with an awkward breath. Impress the judge with you being the most fluent in this piece.

very good, I like your tone, keep up the work!

How do you have a good tone when you play a higher note that's the only thing that's holding me back on the etudes.
@swann_trbn2 ай бұрын
The simple answer is to make sure you're not tensing up & squeezing in an attempt to make things speak in the high register. I'll see if I can make a video tomorrow about this topic!

I’d be really nice to have the etude on the screen so I can follow along with how it goes in the music, thanks none the less

Glad you found it helpful. I'm working on a mini-lesson/walk through of the etudes. I'll be sure to have it up in that for people to follow along with!

Do you use a specific etude or is this all random?

It's a collection of stuff I like - most notably the flow studies are from Cichowicz and the gliss passage is from Peter Ellefson (one of the current trombone professors at Indiana.)
