my favorite Prabhupada quote is where he says women like to be raped, Children can be beaten, blacks should be slaves and that he was 22 years old when he honeymooned his 11 year old child bride. what is yours?

Weak arguments, all. The change from moment to moment in this body is not as drastic and separating as the change from incarnation to incarnation. Loss of memory is significant because it entails there is no continuity of personality. I have no reason to fear future punishment or future rewards of future "bodies" because they will not be me, they are not the continuation of me, this current human self. The ability for yogis to supposedly recall memories of past lives (who do not consider other spiritual hypotheses for these 'memories') does not entail the continuation of the previous person through that current incarnation's rememberance. Nor is karma or samskaras really the continuation of the previous person. The only thing that would suffice would be greater memory recall of what ones body has done and an immortality stemming from ones human life, not from some "higher self," which continues to exist despite your human self being wiped by incarnation into a fetus. These memories are being remembered by a different body, and they were created by a different body, in a different context. You can only shift the identity to something I am not at this point, like some kind of mind that transcends its incarnations. I am not this thing because it has different desires, limitations, faculties, nature, etc. If my perspective shifts to it after death, I will have been replaced, and it is unlike any Earthly experience or analogy- it is a total assimilation. I am no longer this individual, but some other individual with a different ego and center of 'egoic gravity' (for lack of a better phrase). Not to mention that, again, remembering earlier events from this life is different not in quantity but in fundamental quality from remembering memories from a 'past life'- in the former case, I remember memories of deeds performed by this body and do not need to appeal to a supernatural subconscious repository of past life memories, making them more intimate, more 'me.' What's more, there is a continuity of body- the body remembering the past deeds is the same body that has done those deeds (despite relative changes over the years). In any case, reincarnation is not the same as personal immortality and is nothing to be sought after, much less believed in without lamentation. If it is true, I may as well not be bothered about a future afterlife, because I wont have it. He keeps saying 'I' have accepted a body, but this is not the same 'I' that I actually am. The fate of this 'I' of which he speaks is utterly incidental to the fate of the actual me that I am, which can exist forever, as in some Abrahamic, pagan, or spiritualist traditions. I am not the spirit 'choosing bodies' and discarding them, this is an exercise in imagination. I am the body, or I am a spirit utterly identified with the body that will immortalize the ego produced while it lives in the body. In any case, I am not what he speaks of, for if I was, a different ego and spirit would live on. Please dont tell me that a life as a tree will be the continuation of this man whose post you are reading. Or that the subtle body is me, even though I am not acting from its perspective- that of a mind encompassing all of its incarnations. It does not matter that "I have merely forgotten." The point is that there is also no afterlife presented for the individual, one may as well live like an atheist because one will not suffer the consequences of one's actions. The body that performed these actions would fear suffering and exhaustion, but if you define the subtle body as something personal and prior to it, larger than it, rather than the continuation of it, the subtle body does not suffer, but rather the body it incarnates into. The subtle body doesnt grow exhausted, isnt damaged, cannot die, is 'eternal,' and can evidently do what it pleases without repercussions to itself, but rather to the human this system so devalues.

What's clear and whats not clear God only knows. What if the term God itself is the biggest invention of man's fertile imagination. And most ppl hv monetised this word God and made it their business. I am talking about all religions not just hinduism .

Speculative knowledge from ancient India ! Srimad-Bhagavatam teaches that the Sun is closer to the Earth than the Moon, our universe is half full of water and the eclipses of the Sun and the Moon are csused by the attacks of a demon. S-B is not a reliable source of information.
