I am not a detribalized Nigerian, I have a tribe, I am Igbo; my soul is Igbo. I'm more likely to resurrect from dead at the sound of the Ogene and oja than Angel Gabriel's trumpet.

Whoever wrote the instrumental score for this, especially the bass back track, should have won a Grammy.

Brings back memories, and still a great song to listen to. Little story about the People on tour in 1968.The band was to appear at the Montréal pop festival July 17, they and procal harum got busted at the border and never made it to Montreal. Silver lining to the story is that the Who stepped up to play a second set that day to fill the time slot.

Keebler used to make a cookie called Magic Middles. Now that Chips Ahoy has a version, it reminds me of that. Any cookie with a gooey middle, reminds me of that. Tim Horton's has a cookie with Nutella in the middle.

Written, of course, by Felice and Boudleaux kBryant, who wrote so many of the Everly’s great hits. Was there any act in history with better natural harmony than these guys?

Why on earth didn't he put this on the Smiler album rather than that HORRIBLE Aretha Franklin cover? Or that awful Paul McCartney song (Mine For Me)?
