Such a beautiful lecture. I come from suni background but our beliefs are the same. There is no contradiction between what I was taught growing up and what your lectures are saying. Very heartfelt and beautiful talk. Thank you ❤️ ❤️

Sayed Khomeni wasn’t from Qum though, he was from Khomeyn, hence his name. Inshallah the day will come when speakers and scholars stop lying and manipulating to try pushing their narrative.
@ghashed-q1j24 күн бұрын
It appears your comment stems from a misunderstanding of both historical context and the intent behind the lecturer’s interpretation. To dismiss the lecturer’s words as “lying and manipulating” reflects not only poor judgement but a lack of critical engagement with the material being discussed. Firstly, your assertion that Imam Khomeini's name is derived from his birthplace of Khomeyn does nothing to discredit the hadith's possible reference to him. Names and titles are merely identifiers, not definitive limitations on what historical or spiritual figures may signify. The hadith mentioning "a man from Qum" was narrated centuries before the establishment of modern nation-states and their current borders. Qum, in the prophetic tradition, is often understood not solely as a geographical location but as a symbol of spiritual authority, a bastion of scholarship, and the heart of the Islamic awakening. In this regard, Imam Khomeini, through his leadership, embodied the essence of this prophecy, rallying steadfast followers who, as the hadith describes, were like "pieces of iron, not to be shaken by violent winds." Secondly, to undermine the lecturer by accusing him of "lying and manipulating" is both intellectually lazy and disrespectful. Interpretation of hadiths has always been subject to scholarly analysis and requires a depth of knowledge far beyond superficial readings. The lecturer’s position, linking the hadith to Imam Khomeini, is not baseless conjecture but aligns with a broader understanding of historical and spiritual fulfilments. The Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini was a unique manifestation of resistance and divine reliance in the modern era, and its alignment with the prophecy is well within the bounds of valid interpretation. Your tone betrays a bias that seeks to delegitimise the Islamic Republic of Iran and, by extension, the axis of resistance. This stance ignores the undeniable role that Iran and its leadership have played in defending Islamic values, standing firm against imperialism, and supporting oppressed nations. It is precisely this unwavering reliance on God and refusal to yield to "violent winds" of external pressure that validates the lecturer’s interpretation. Imam Khomeini’s movement was not confined to Khomeyn but radiated from Qum as the epicentre of religious scholarship and revolution. Rather than hastily discrediting the lecturer’s narrative, I suggest reflecting on the historical and spiritual significance of the hadith in question. The words of Imam Musa ibn Jafar (as) carry timeless wisdom, and to reduce their interpretation to rigid geographical boundaries is an oversimplification unworthy of serious discourse. If you seek the truth, approach the matter with humility and intellectual rigour rather than dismissive accusations.

Exactly what’s happening in Gaza, the amount of comments I’ve seen from IsntReali’s on posts responding to their actions, makes me believe they genuinely feel like they have a right to destroy families and kill children. These openly ignorant fools will Inshallah not be shown mercy.

Allah is the comforter and Prophet Muhammad ( pbuh ) also carries this variant of the name . The Qur’an is a comfort . I hope you find comfort from these 🙏🏽 it’s important to remember comfort or to be comforted or needing comfort or wanting comfort is part of humanity even for the Prophets and imams . The best thing is tenderness Imams Ali ( as) ❤ Kindness is the understanding that we all struggle even Proohet Yusuf ( pbuh)

To the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (Saw), all of us needs to drop every issues between us and unite under one single profound cause. The ummah as a whole are in danger as we speak and trust me, the rest are benefiting from it. May Allah have mercy on us all. Ameen
