Early Genesis had a huge effect on me as well. I went through similar phases which make up the layers I call me. I turned down an offer to play bass guitar for a drum legend I knew, as I was just introduced to Portishead, Massive Attack, and the likes, (at that time) and I was into my own thing, so i get it.
