Are you sure you activated API services in game settings, and you were increasing the cash stat on the server side? If you weren't, saving won't work.

I’ve always wanted to find ways to advertise a game that could stand out to players, and I’m working on this platformer for my little “game studio” which I think is about to become my first “professional game”. Also one thing I think you forgot to mention is retention. What core loops does the game have? And what makes it fun? I think if a game is really fun, it’ll make for a great experience.

Nice video, but personally I don't like using ai for my projects because I get no satisfaction a real developer would have since I haven't done any real work... However, it's a good start to learning how to script if you take the time to learn rather than just copy and paste code without trying to understand it I highly don't recommend creating a front page game with just ai, since people have their ways of knowing. Plus, it's unfair for people who actually put in the effort to make their game to be on the front page, but just gets a slot stolen by a game 10x better because they used ai. (I'm not really good at how the front page works but you get the point)

I think you also missed the fact that the game itself needs good retention and people need to actually enjoy the game. You could have also gone over funnel stats and how following a trend can help bring the likelihood of a game to pop off. In the end only around 5% of viewers on any platform actually consider to try something new they see in the video.
