Dear Don, Although the pieces depicted all appear to date from between the 17th and early 20th centuries, it can be supremely difficult to definitively date many works, which use apocryphal marks attributable to earlier masters. That said, I recommend that you review publications by John Ayers’, and perhaps the earlier book by Donnelly - although his dating has be refuted in numerous instances in Ayers’ much more recent texts. But, on any plane, the sculptural beauty of Blanc de Chine often transcends time!

今天看到国大的陶瓷展视频真令人掠异，一看不中又日又现代的工艺品，只看到一件类处销瓷盆，没有多大兿术价值只可当现代商业工艺品，奉劝国大收藏陶瓷应起码有国际公认水平的东西！别让人啼笑皆非卖矣！

尤其是那件纪年款铭文书"大明宣德年制“更不伦不类，非牛非马，四不像。仿得非常离谱赝品也公然拿来向社会人士介绍！成何体统。代表新加坡国立名校，那些“精英“却在陶瓷收藏展中大摆乌尨，岂不是丢新加坡人的面吗？奉劝国大陶瓷展请不要搞搞笑行动，让世人啼笑皆非也！

I have one that came from a collector that was in the Philippines in the 1950's. I got this from his son's estate about 20 years ago. At that time it was claimed that there were no Blue and White pieces from the Tang period.

Like it is an Arab Dhow (with some ceramics even saying Oman on it so likely sailing for Sohar) but sailing from China... So I think any great public museum works honestly, especially if they allow travelling exhibits for the related countries.
