Good informational video but all I wanted to know is what’s the proper fluid level in the reservoir and you didn’t really cover that.

I replaced brake and clutch bleeder valves with “Speed Bleeders.” They have a controlled outlet valve so when you release the hand lever the bleeder valve is sealed to keep air from entering. All you have to do is continue pumping the clutch lever or the brake pedal. No fiddling with,loosening and tightening the bleeder valves. No concern about getting air in the fluid, and much easier.

Thank you, Thank you for adding the LOMAX installation video. After watching it twice I was able to install the cover on my 2020 Tacoma. Took about 30 minuets. I have a torque wrench but used my hand pressure torque, works every time. (12-11-21).

I'm currently looking for tonneau cover for my 2021 toyota tacoma short bed. I'm debating between the lomax and the gator efx. Can someone please tell me which tonneau cover is better. Thanks.

I'm leaning towards the Lomax cuz they offer urethane covering more durable from scratches. Bak flip scratches easy

If you make a J-loop with the clear plastic tubing, you wouldn't risk air coming up the system. Also you can continue adding fluid on top while draining it from the bleed nipple till all you see is clear fluid coming out.
@av8er16484 жыл бұрын
Absolutely.
@songmaster93084 жыл бұрын
Really nice video Dan, thanks! FYI, you don't have to slide the cleats in, you can put them anywhere you want by loosening the cleat, then angling in the cleat bracket to the rail, then tighten the cleat.

Thank you Lorene. I appreciate your comment and perspective. Along with the beauty of creation, when I take time to reflect, I appreciate the Creator God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit that spoke the world into existence. John chapter one starts off by telling us that in the beginning He created all things. That all things were made by Him and for Him. So to me... when I soak in this beauty, I realize how much more beautiful the Creator must be and... in fact... is. Have a wonderful day. Thanks again for you time and consideration to comment.

great vid. would this be good for harsh cold -40 F winters you think? what about crazy down pouring rain and also car washes?
@av8er16485 жыл бұрын
Thanks mobgma. I'm sure that this cover would be ok with the extreme cold being that it is made up of aluminum, some steel, rubber and plastic. Much more favorably than a soft cover and in my opinion many other trifolds with seals on top rather than under the cover like this one. Which is one of the main reasons that I opted for this one. As far as the rain. I was hit with a pretty heavy downpour for a good 20 minutes while driving at about 45 mph. I did have some water in the bed. Very little. Hard to tell where it came from but I'm suspecting either the tailgate, which I hadn't sealed yet, or the bulkhead where I demonstrated the installment of the seal between the rails amd bulkhead. I plan to examine more closely in the future and post my findings. Either way, I expect it to be a minor issue. There are plenty of others with this cover stating that their beds are staying bone dry in torrential downpours.
You're welcome Alex. I can provide you with the name and phone number of the salesman that I dealt with if you'd like. The shipping was free and insanely fast. I placed my order at noon on a Wednesday and received it on my doorstep at noon on Friday. Several other had stated that they paid $880.00 for the same cover. I got a deal via a post on a Tacomaworld.com forum that the salesman honored. Based on the manual that came with it this is the LOMAX Hard Trifold cover. There is also a Professional Series Cover. I will simply provide you with the thread where you will find the contact info rather than me posting it here. You can confirm the model with Lucas from there. Hope this helps.

Hi, thx for the video. Did you know the part number of your LOMAX Bed cover? It’s seems to me that there are diferente Tri folds bed cover. I saw a few videos that needs to install without Tacoma bed rails on... and as your video, you have the rails on..
