I got talking to Dylans mum (and gran) just prior to videoing this , she requested this video and previous videos of Dylan and Mr Lefkowitz I had recorded at EOTRF, and send them to her, said I would recieve a 'prize'...i sent videos..no prize?

Brilliant , wonderful, intriguing, what a performer. Would it be wrong of me to liken Ms Nomates to a modern day cross between Ian Curtiss and Kate Bush? The papers are saying she was heckled on stage and online recently? The sound is more of a light late 70s pop punk, the main difference being that electro beat. Perhaps post punk is more accurate. I think she should have went with an actual drummer to hit harder, but then again rock is dead when it comes to chart music and any chance of success. I'm guessing the style is what people didn't like, unless there's a political reason eg her media posts, or perhaps the lyrics? john lydon can give tips on what not to say 🙃

Yes it would seem she was not to liking of some people at Glastonbury, no need for hurtful personal abuse though ,if you dont like her style of music (no wave) go listen to some other band . I put this video up a couple years back, had a lot of good feed back. I personally think she is fantastic 😎

@@godzuks Social media is the root cause for ever polarising opinions and labelling over the last decade, heavily inspired by US trends and media. If she describes herself, or is thought of or described as a feminist, which seems to be what some forums are suggesting, this may conjure up negativity outright with many negative assumptions on what they stand for. Some media were pointing out that those shouting out were the older generation.. but I highly doubt they were old enough for punk! It sounds like they were there only to heckle given they did not move. Hired by the tabloids would perhaps be highly unlikely, but not an impossibility. I will assume it was a very small crowd, and social media heckling isn't worth caring about in any way given it's ability of conjuring up a follow the leader herd mentality

@@godzuks that's what I was thinking, without it I'm sure many wouldn't have known about them or looked up their earlier singles. I've missed glastonbury coverage so far on tv so I'm not sure if they showed her or just focused on the biggest artists
