Yes and no. Pentium d version is a computer you wouldn't want to run 64-bit software on. Athlon 64 version is.

The string is being interpreted as an iterable object. Make sure to add a comma after supplying the arg for the thread's function. For example args=(alarmtime,) as opposed to args=(alarmtime)

Yeah, this format is really hard to debug, but it's not a coincidence that he's passing in a 9 char string and it's reading it as 9 args. I'd want to look at the function with the regex without being hyper zoomed in to give a more precise explanation, but in general terms I'm confident that's where the problem is. The random print statements and the type conversion assigned to nothing take me back.

Id like to mention that the string happens to be 9 characters long. Perhaps its being seperated and passed in character by character for some reason. You could try passing a one character string as a test to see if thats whats happening.

Like I said, scratch is a visual coding platform made for kids. It may only have a “Few” basic functions (over 100), but people are still able to go a long way with scratch, making Getting Over It by Griffpatch, or Vectoid TD 3D (A 3D platformer made in a 2d game engine). What I’m trying to say is that scratch is for beginners, and they couldn’t include too many blocks or it would overwhelm the beginners, yet people able to go a very long way using scratch.
