You needn't align vertices by eye. You can snap them into place.

GPU rendering does not allow control of indirect samples (diffuse, specular, transmission, sss, volume indirect)... Sampling for GPU rendering is controlled via the Camera AA samples, Adaptive Sampling, and last with Ray Depth. Low Settings: AA:5 Adaptive Sampling: 20 (threshold: 0.05) Ray Depth: 10 (to be divided depending on scene) High Settings: AA:20 Adaptive: 80 (threshold: 0.005) one more zero on purpose Ray Depth: 20 (to be divided depending on scene)

Hello. I really like this tutorial! I am working on an environment scene but did not know how to go about modeling or making leaves - I wanted to be efficient and i wanted to save time, which is why i watched this tutorial. I was wondering what this process is called or known as? i ask because I’m new to texturing, as well as modeling.

CPU. Maya don't seem to like GPU rendering
@diegoalehandrourso1063Ай бұрын
@@everycg believe it or not, most vfx studios still use CPU rendering, despite the loud crowd on the internet and forums for GPU rendering.

I do have a question like how can u reduce the noise when ur applying mesh light to a object cuz i already applied mesh light for the obj and it seems even tho I increased the samples for it the noise is still there and i also tweaked with my camera settings to reduce the noise but I'm still having a lot of noise in my scene so how can I reduce it to null when I'm using a mesh light...
@everycg Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, mesh light is like that, which is why many people avoid it when possible. But try increasing your diffuse samples along with your AA samples.

Why you back and forth with the render setting that you just said don't do it because it is not officiant? making no seance.
@BuGuedes9 ай бұрын
I think he writes the settings down to put it back in the end. He changes them momentarly when focusing on a specific area to reduce render times when trying out different things. Thats just a speculation from what I've seen on the video, @EveryCG please correct me if thats not the case.
