hey, I also lived dead runs about the Cavalry falling strat. Don't know how it works precisely. Not to mention also the non-loaded areas who killed some of my best runs, often occurring in Special Delivery I realised

Thanks♥. In That level if you drop from anywhere other than the far left of the cliff you'll die whether you switch or not, I should have clarified that switching doesn't work on high cliffs, so you have to go slow and as far as you can. (Look my run for reference)♥.

Cool♥, you're right but tbh I kind of accepted that there will always be time lost. This took a lot of time, I haven't seen the wife in days even (I don't have a wife). And that tank was part of the whole frame limiting that I think you should try if you come around to play this game♥♥.

Although currently I don't have time to practice to make a whole game run I can find a few hours rivaling on the level scale because I think you blew up multiple level WR in this run 😆 I still think you can go deeper in the sub 50 tho. congrats again on being the N°1 on this beloved game

@@goldenass04hahaha yeah those three missions before On the Brink seem awful from a speedrunning perspective. I loved No Retreat for the map and how longer of a mission it was. Though I never liked Cavalry Charge or Human Shield

Hahaha same, I literally just looked up "Operation Desert Storm Speedrun" cause I wanted to see a quick recap of this game and see what I remember. But some missions like the tank one made my heart bleed... the NPCs waste so many of those tank shots! I remember not having that many with the Bradley.

Thanks!!♥🤍♥, dude the game makes me mad sometimes😆, on No Retreat Foley fell and destroyed the chain and with that damn tank at the end, on Cavalry I still don't know what exploded between 1 and 4 which destroyed the chain too, and on Human Shield the dude shot his rocket way too fast, which has never happened to me before 🤣. And did you see Crash and burn, Connor grazed a rocket, and I have never gotten a 23 before which is wild. And you're right about the laser trick I should have utilized it more. Also, I got a 53:13 on this which the same as CDSII but I felt a sub 53 was possible, turns out it was more than possible had I not made those mistakes.😎

@@goldenass04 for No retreat you could've let foley die because you don't need him for the rest of the mission but this is a decision to make fast. For Calvary it can be someone with a RPG who shot you. And Human shield damn it's the worst one I have so many runs dead because I forgot to shot someone who will eventually shoot a prisoner. You can reach 52:30 imo. I think I can make a sub 1h too but damn I'll have to practice before lol

I don't look down to increase my fps i use a frame limiter with hotkeys, one for 100fps and one for 1000 to make the loading screen go faster because the loading screen is very slow with less than that. Also, i look down because the video recording doesn't get heavy, the less movement the less size.♥🧡

True, this game is very unpredictable. The first one has that weird cool feeling, although I'm nostalgic for them both, CDS2 is more nostalgic to me. But All awesome nonetheless!! What's sad is that I'm currently having problems with CDS1, dude I shoot a tank even from behind and it wouldn't get destroyed, it's very funky I don't know what to do. And Yeah I hope more people speedrun these games they're so much fun!!♥♥♥♥

your soldiers can die in this game actually. If you go to 10:38 you can see he dropped in an unreachable place and is just done. but in the next mission they give you new dudes. I remember trying to see all possibilities which was a bit interesting. ♥♥

That you shouldn't smoke civilians, it actually affect their stats. I actually smoke the dude because he would disrupt your AI targeting and it almost always leads to delays with them not shooting the enemy.❤‍🩹❤❤

Yeah, I hope to see more people play this. ♥ I think you can overwrite any save in any video game as long as you name the newer save the same name as the old save. provided the two saves are on the same version of game. ♥

I actually finished the level without raising the alarm, which is funny.🤣
