Thunderbolt 5 is nowhere to be seen as we cross to 2nd half of 2024. Sadly we don't have any host devices from Intel with integrated support. Only a discrete solution, Barlow Ridge Thunderbolt Controller is currently available. Intel Panther Lake needs integrated native support for Thunderbolt 5.

**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE IS COMPATIBLE WITH A USB-C TO HDMI CABLE** I have a Samsung Galaxy Flip 4, and when it first came out I thought for sure with as new as it was, I could use the USB-C to 4K HDMI cable I bought... Boy was I extremely disappointed when I found out it didn't work and my phone wasn't compatible. Apparently the list of phones that are compatible with that kind of adapter cable is very short. Apparently the newest Flip 5 is actually compatible, so in about 2 more months when I'm eligible for an upgrade, I'll finally be able to use my USB-C to 4K cable that I haven't been able to use in almost 2 years.

I just recently purchased this, I want to know if I can "Turn it off". When I disconnect the stand from the charging cable it has a light that is on while my phone is connected to this device (dunno what else). As a result a light drain from my phones battery while not charging and on the stand. What is the story with this and is there a solve?

If you needed an answer, yes it will. I believe it's a requirement for TB4 cables to support TB3 as well as USB4.

I just bought that Switch to use with 2 MacBook Pro connected with USB-C to a 4K monitor using DisplayPort, I have the Apple Magic Keyboard connected to the Switch with an USB to Lightning cable, and a webcam on USB as well. It works like a charm! Both Mac are being powered, even when not active, just 1 cable to plug on the Mac, really nice.

This won't work if the Display Port monitor has a Mini-DP cable coming out of in instead of a Mini-DP socket.

That's the way it is, you won't find something that doesn't requires power. It's an active converter, it requires power. Display to hdmi is really hard to convert

do not work with Pico neo 3 VR on Razer Blade 2021, I just return it back to AMAZON. KiwiBird one's works without problem. Also cable do not support high refresh rate in 4k, 72hz is max.

The product description says that gaming consoles aren't supported. Why is that? Many people, myself included, are looking for hdmi to displayport 1440p 120hz from Xbox Series X and Playstation 5.

My Oculus Rift S doesn't work with the displayport cable, even when I use an auxiliary USB power cable. The Oculus software keeps showing the signal as disconnected.

I have a 10ft. 8k Fiber Optic cable from my PC to an 8k switch that feeds 4k@60 to my TV, and a 33ft. 4k@60 fiber optic cable to my monitor across the room. The 33ft cable that attaches to my monitor only seems to be able to get enough signal for 30Hz. Will this give the boost I need if I attached it post switch? The 33ft cable(which it needs to be) seems to have enough ability to do 60Hz, but it doesn't seem to get enough signal when the extra 10+ feet are added. What's strange is if I use my 8k cable, the 8k switch, and then 25 feet of regular HDMI cable, I can still get [email protected] I need that extra 10 feet. If I buy this...will it work? I'm tired of troubleshooting and having to buy a million pieces. I just want a straight forward answer. Thanks! :)

What's the security of your devices , since they are made in China and your company in southboro Ma appears to mislead where they are made, website is very hush hush about the security of the devices, what's the quality control check? How can it be verified? Do you have the schematic without having to take apart to see if it's snooping on transmission?
