I was asking myself the same question, and even tho the 🍋 is tinier and pricier, i ordered it over the Liven after watching so many people telling that they returned the Liven because it sounded cheap and lofi. Also, the 🍋 has an extra osc you can use as a sub to densify your sound too, and that is priceless. Go watch what r beny creates with the 🍋 alone and you'll be convinced ;)

I am a software developer and going dawless allows me to minimize the reliance of a large backlit screen 📺 for the entire day. I am old and am trying to rest my eyes as much as I can. I was even looking into getting an OP-Z, and Circuit Rhythm. #NoScreen #ScreenFatigue

@@DawlessArcade I’m getting used to Elektron synths, DT, DN. Want to create a psy ambient like @Substan Fabian does. His style is amazing for me. I’m from Ukraine. Kharkiv. 40 km from russia that bombed us year ago and still does with ballistic missiles. Looking for the cheaper substitute for a granular synth. Just missed the FRMS iPad granular synth sale. You need an expensive iPad to run them so it's not cheaper, duh. I got some on my iPad Pro, but I didnt really like using them on it. The lemondrop is amazing, very powerful but intuitive and easy to learn what can be quite a complex form of synthesis. Get a little battery pack and play it on planes and trains, so much fun.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that understands the energetic reality. I purchased my Lemondrop in the 🇺🇸, at Sweetwater music. I flew it in. My hopes are that we can build up enough attention in the South African Dawless Production community that I can become a distributor on the continent.

I will let you know if/when I travel. I can pack an extra lemondrop in my bag for you. It’s tiny enough and I enjoy it enough to do so.

@@DawlessArcade Yep the energy situation is definitely not going away anytime soon, if there is an actual plan then maybe in 6-10 years it could be sorted.. Lol 😂 I really love that one can have such a mobile and powerful system and not having to rely on mains power or computers, I spend enough time at work in front of my computer so getting away from it is the goal. I do want to find a bus powered mini keyboard and a lemondrop to compliment the 707. 1010 also makes the Bluebox which looks awesome, mini mixer and recorder, not sure if that can be powered by a power bank or not but also looking into those..

Oh good to know where you got yours from, thanks for the info. I think there are enough people that would be interested in a mobile /dawles setup, there's plenty of people into synths /electronic music, it's a matter of reaching them/marketing/building a community.

Ah… I see how you set that up nicely. I am trying to find a balance between energy efficiency and GEAR. So I may have to go without external sidechain until I test the consumption requirements. But it’s fun 🤩. Thanks for watching!

I played in the chords in real time, then I adjusted the Note Lengths as needed to fill the gaps. The MC707 is quite deep and I may need to do a tutorial on some things eventually.😃

I am still trying to figure out IF the MC707 can fake FM, at the moment I had to use Ableton Wavetable and sample 16 notes into a dedicated drum track. But I hope to figure out a way to do it INSIDE the box one day.
