I was curious how you were supposed to fight it. I just used bomb arrows to knock them down and then punched them a lot.

While grinding for my first competitive team, I randomly encountered a shiny hoppip and a shiny glimmet, which I had never gotten a full-odds shiny before, so to think TWO! Nice shinies btw

Im glad you said that this is one of the more difficult bosses! I tend to struggle with them but I was able to beat this one quickly today. It was my first one and it went by fairly quick. Hopefully the other ones go just as smoothly! I accidentally skipped the cutscene so I'm watching it on here lol

Kind of bummed they don’t have the boss death scenes like the old games. Say what you want about Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. Those had some of the most creative and brutal boss deaths in the series.

Yeah, Kraken does seem decent so far. The decoys does seem to be a bit underwhelming compared to the kraken haha.

@TwinBladeX i think i get how beacon is gonna be used. You want to shoot it at area's where your teammates are gonna be and it allows you to hide jump markers and to paint small area's for your team to fight in. It's probably only good for coordinated teams

Is the second whirlpool pattern the same as the first, or can it change?

There's two tidal call patterns. The first tidal call pattern in the video has three whirlpools, you want to be in the middle of the northeast whirlpool space to be safe.The second tidal call pattern has four whirlpools instead and there are two safe spots, one in southwest and southeast.

@@MintyBlaziken No, they go in random order. Either the first or second tidal call pattern can occur. The same thing applies to the 2nd tidal call phase.
