I had a DUI that got reduced to a P.I. through a plea bargain; I also have a charge for Resisting Law Enforcement by Vehicle, it was a felony charge that got reduced to a misdemeanor through a plea bargain. What do you think, would this impact my ability to obtain my NREMT?

Next time zoom in more so people can read the question and answer themselves. Especially if your not going to read off all the answers. Kinda makes your lecture pointless for us watching. ZOOM in so that everything is legible.

Question 25 regarding the elderly woman removed from her burning house with 50% full thickness burns requiring appropriate treatment, I thought we were to first remove clothing since it can help reduce burns from smoldered clothing? I thought we were to remove metals such as jewelry since burns cause swelling? I know the correct answer as stated in your video is covering burns with dry sterile dressings and preventing further heat loss, but could you explain so I can better understand? I passed my EMT class this past May, failed 1st attempt NREMT exam this past June, and retest this Saturday in July. Am I misinterpreting the word "treatment"? Thanks.

Respiration CAN be slowed down significantly, however, if the person is NOT opioid naive -- VERY IMPORTANT. Chronic pain patients who use what most folks think is a "high dose," appear to tolerate it so well, that with MANY OF THEM, YOU WOULD NEVER EVEN THINK THEY WERE USING IT. You have to use more caution when ANY OTHER DRUGS OR SUPPLEMENTS ARE BEING TAKEN. Don't drink the Kool Aid regarding this issue. Any drug or substance you put in your body has potential to poison them. The illicit supply is extremely dangerous because OF THE OTHER SHIT THAT CAN END UP IN IT. Please use caution if you use more than 1 medicine at a time. I believe most of the OD's that are happening now, are due to MULTIPLE DRUGS detected in the deceased. You never really hear about people who pass on from a morpheine OD, but they make it sound that way. There is nobody who can tell you WHICH DRUG IT WAS THAT DID THE PERSON IN. So. they demonize ALL of them, restrict prescriptions and for some odd reason....more people are dead and dying.
@McGuire123100
@McGuire123100 3 жыл бұрын
"Don't drink the Kool Aid" is a reference to the Jim Jones mass murder. Jones was a cult leader who brainwashed his followers by spreading information that wasn't exactly the truth. There was SOME truth, perhaps, but when he was fearful of being stopped, he served everyone Kool Aid laced with some poison and it killed everyone who drank it. I know there is potential for ALL drugs to go awry. But like u said, U know someone who is on a drug like Morpheine and I 100% believe u when u say to look at him...NOBODY would guess. In other words, I want folks to know that morphine and controlled drugs like it....Are not the demonic life stealing substances that we are told they are. Most folks don't know this, and until we all know what's true and what isn't.....more people will die bc nobody can seem to find any reason to treat severe chronic pain, even when somebody is going to die. We also have palliative care, which is NOT HOSPICE and a patient CAN be get palliative care for YEARS when they are NOT near death, bc they have serious medical conditions that will progress and don't get better so drs TREAT THE PAIN and OTHER SYMPTOMS that are too distressing to live with and manage to be productive. I'm praying for ur dad, Hon. I can't imagine the terror of fearing losing the only thing there is that makes living bearable. I know he probably can't get anywhere near what he needs, and THAT, is the real crime. Much love to you and Dad. I spoke up to try to make a difference for him and all the others who are suffering needlessly due to these new restrictions. Where do people turn when even their dr deliberately under treats them or leaves them in agony. Cuz....people in pain are UNWELCOME in even the ER's across the country. Something is very wrong here. I just hope the cruel people who got busy saving the world from themselves gets their very own opportunity to scream in agony in a hospital FULL of trained professionals who hear them screaming, know how to relieve their suffering but choose to abuse them, instead. Maybe then, our bodies and minds will be returned to us so that WE can decide FOR OURSELVES what's in our best interests. Be well.
