I admit I have not used these since I made this video. However, I think of it like this when I'm in my car, why wear a seat belt when you have airbags. The more protection, the better. Some situations can be a little sketchy, so what's wrong with a little extra. Thanks for the comment and watching.

Should have spent your money on a DEWALT 20V MAX* XR Pole Saw, 15-Foot Reach. After removing the excessive low tree limbs practice using Active Track, you can control horizontal distance and vertical distance from the subject. DJI says: vehicles, boats, and people, I don't see bikes pulling child carrier. Learning curves, the older you are the longer it takes (and more cuss words)
@Southland816Ай бұрын
first off thanks for watching, I think. Secondly are you selling pole saws because that was specific. Seriously though I'm not going to cut every branch my drone comes into contact with that's crazy it should avoid them (OSTICLE AVOIDANCE) "DJI says vehicles, boats, and people, I don't see bikes pulling child carrier.'' Ok really have ever seen a bike it has a person on it and a child carrier has a person in it, 😉 that's what a child is. I don't get the last part are you making fun of older people or are you old yourself? Listen the whole point of that video was to make the drone fail to show its limitations I'm sorry if it offended you or upset you that wasn't its purpose it was meant to be a learning experience. Also Please don't sale your pole saws on my channel anymore Thank you.

I hope there is no fire risk with that cheaper 20Amp battery you purchased.Is it Is it Lithium PO4 battery?
@Southland8162 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, there is a fire risk with any lithium battery, and the cheaper ones are usually more at risk. However, this is not the cheapest on the market it is somewhere in the middle, I also spoke with a few people who have it, and they are happy with the purchase so far. It is a PO4, and your concern is I believe warranted, but as I said, the people I spoke with have had no problems so far and the battery doesn't get hot during riding or charging so as of now I'm a fan. Thanks for the comment and watching.

I bought a DJI Neo for videoing me on my Bike with no controllers or phones. All was great loving this little drone and then came the latest update after which the Neo flew away, I found it jumped through all the hoops that DJI told me to do and that made it worse. So bad I returned it and got a refund.. I just hope the same thing does not happen to my mini 4 pro.

I rarely go for the next best thing but the 3 to the 4 seems to be a pretty big leap. The fist time using my 4 at an outdoor wedding last week I went for a 400' dronie away from the venue and the drone stopped for a tree top that looked close but clear to me. I wouldn't want to fly into a tree with an audience. My biggest concern is can it's speed overwhelm the obstacle sensors? Example: doing a fast 400' helix or boomerang near trees, poles, buildings, etc..
@Southland8162 ай бұрын
Yes, you can definitely out fly your sensors I have repair bills to prove it. The Mini 4 is an awesome drone but it does have its limitations and stunt flying is it. Although it is capable of doing some cool moves it is sadly not an FPV.

object avoidance must have been turned OFF no need for it at all Omnidirectional obstacle sensing makes Mini 4 Pro mighty safe. With four wide-angle vision sensors and a pair of downward vision sensors, it detects obstacles from all angles. Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) ensures additional safety by enabling automatic braking and bypassing during flight.

Great video and review! Thanks! My wife bought me the same boat a few years ago. I took it to our vacation spot in NH without doing any mods. It worked but didn't improve my bad back. I, like you, looked around on KZbin at what others had done and copied some of their ideas. I now have a better, more comfortable 'boat' to fish from. I didn't use it much the last couple of years and just yesterday took mine out on the lake. IT WAS WINDY!!! Needless to say, I also own a "baloon on water" and will need to work on rectifying that issue. I like your "fin" idea...I may play around with that. Thank you for the video. Looking for more details on these propellers. How durable are they in comparison? Any added strain on the motors? Are they seamless fit to install? Have you had any break, come off, or cause a failed flight or crash? Do they drain the battery more due to their difference in size, stiffness, lack of flexibility, etc.? I read on their site where it says the Super Stealth are NOT as high in “Improved Handling” as the standard Stealth version. Any thoughts!?! Thank you in advance for your time and reply.
@Southland8163 ай бұрын
They are made of a hard plastic that is stronger than the factory props. I did not notice any difference in the motors or the battery after using them. They install just like the factory ones, and I have had some break due to tree limb impact, but they are more durable than the factory props. However, they DONOT make the drone quite if anything I notice an increase in noise. As I said in the video all you get are extra props that are red. Thanks for the comments and for watching (good questions).

I thought you would break into a tears-in-coffee country song at any minute. You could easily do a "Friar Schuck's ministry of the Airwaves" and possibly do a good cover of "She rode into town to find the man who killed her daddy...yipee-aye-aaay..." 😂 All goofiness aside, thanks for the reviews. There aren't many props for any drone that really make a difference noise-wise. I think the trick would be, since you can't set an RPM limit, increase the pitch, or blade count and possibly tweak the blade length. There will always be a tradoffs when that happens, not to mention unintended oscillations and vibrations. +1 on not recommending such gimmicky products. The Mi4P is the quietest brushless motor drone I've owned to date. If you want stealth, the brushed motor Syma X5C or similar comes to mind 😅 If the drone has any heft to it, you will have noise of one pitch or another just to get and stay airborne. No getting around it.

What these props do is change the pitch of the props. They simply have a different, deeper sound to them. I have used them for several months. I see no increase in speed and maybe 1 minute longer of battery time. But the only advantage to using them is for visibility, they seem to keep birds away.

You’re supposed to replace the screws every time you put on new props anyways. The screwdriver it comes with is fine

I would like to weigh in here. As stated you need to replace the screws each time you replace a prop, DJI original props will always come with new screws, even some spares. There is a reason for this. Closely look at a new screw, you will notice a small amount of a blue paste. This paste will prevent your screws to come loose, spinning at high rpm"s and changing rotary direction often. So, do whatever you want when it comes to what screwdriver you use, just make sure to use new screws.

I'm thinking of getting the Mini 4 Pro or the Avata 2 My plan to use it for real estate videos like exterior drone videos and interior surely im goona do some photography too aside from taking drone videos Im confused about which one should i get because - mini 4 pro doesn't have a wide angle camera guess i can buy one because i need extra wide for interior videos. And it comes with the controller stick - avata 2 doesn't come with controller stick and i heard the camera is not as good as the mini 4 pro especially for photography and low light situation videos But i really want to have the googels but i only have cash for either of them Im a total beginner, not going to do some extreme action FPV but i really love the Googles concept especially if i want to explore nature Hence saying that, which one would you recommend? Would the mini 4 pro will be beyger with the wide angle lenss? - im not going to fo crazy fast fpv shot - just smooth cinematic, maybe low ground shot but i really need the wide angle lense for real estats photography
@Southland8165 ай бұрын
My advice is to go with the mini-4. It has in my opinion a more stable platform for the kind of photography you want to do and when you get savvy with it you can learn some tricks for the wide-angle shots. You had about 45 sec's of dead time on the end of that clip. In the end you cited four things to watch out for and one of them was flying backwards. You did not talk about that at all while doing the demonstrations and theoretically the 360° obstacle avoidance capabilities on the M4P includes backwards. Can you elaborate a little bit?
