Whats the install for small outboards that are portable and removed from the boat for travel? Outboards NOT mounted with bolts to transom. We pull with a 20HP and this would be great since it attaches mainly to the motor and not the boat or can it?

They are charging $700 to $1500 for this, it costs about $40 to make. Make your own, or go to a fabrication shop. Look it up people. Disgusting what they charge.

I waffled for about six months before buying one because of the cost. And, what you get doesn't cost much to produce. But, the price was about the same as a traditional pylon would have been for my boat and it's a ton stronger and doesn't take up stern space, plus provides height adjustability. You're also paying for the idea, that they came up with and not you. Overall, I'm happy with mine.
