The thing is, people assume spiderwebs would taste terrible, but they don't actually taste like anything. At all. They have no flavor. It's like eating hair.
@johnhoss2247 Жыл бұрын
I don't think anyone assumes spiderwebs taste terrible because that would be like thinking cloth tastes terrible. Seems you've made quite an assumption. It's the texture and feel and the psychological grossness. Would you want to eat a bowl of hair? A bowl of fingernails?

I’ll never understand why the new JW toys have that hard plastic rather than “real feel” rubber skin. It makes so much of a difference in quality and aesthetics and it’s just way cooler to be honest to feel the rubber instead of hard toy plastic. Smh
@jackstraw42222 жыл бұрын
as a collector of these figures ,i would say the rubber is more expensive,than the cheaper plastic they use on the jw figures...the figure quality has gotten better,but jw toyline still feels a step below the jp toyline...

Kenner made such great JP Toys, it’s the reason these items are now so collectible now. Many of the Kenner prototype items command big $ in the collector world, and as with Star Wars, JP has some gems like the Trikes and such. This episode was cool to see when it came out, I’ve been collecting MIB and loose JP items for many many years and have never come across anything similar to these items in terms of rarity. Very cool to at least see them and appreciate what they are. As with the Rocket Firing Boba Fett from Star Wars, here is another example of an item “almost” released to market and haulted prior to release due to legal concerns...the Tike’s pointed horns. Anyway, thanks for posting this years ago for everyone to enjoy. I liked Toy Hunter and wish it was still being made.

@maybebebi70606 жыл бұрын
It's the SAME with most companies nowadays that make video games, movies and toys: Cheapskates. Kenner Toys had more dedication and imagination for making such GREAT figures and had to put plenty of money into designing their toy lines. Now these days... it's all about making $$$$$$$$, not making great products with top quality. JP Kenner figures for life! Screw Hasbro...
@theinkslicer6 жыл бұрын
Maybe Bebi Mattel seems to show that they care unlike those fuckers at Hasbro. Which is funny when you think of it but, Hasbro essentially killed Kenner when they bought them and got rid of that part of Thier company. The only thing they have ownership of is the original molds and prototypes now. Glad Mattel is showing that classic Kenner style love with the real feel mosasaur and making sure their Dinosaurs scale well with eachother and the humans and vehicles.
