So my country is on the visa on arrival list for Venezuela. Did you get a visa on arrival at the border?
@TwonieProject19 күн бұрын
No; as Canadians we had to get a visa ahead of time, but the process was easy and we did it in Cucuta a few days before going to Venezuela.
@Dannys-f6l18 күн бұрын
Thanks for the information. And how did you feel in Venezuela safety wise? Did the checkposts bother you a lot (bribes and things like that) or was it all fine?

Is it possible to cross to Venezuela without a visa from cucuta border crossing?? My country is not listed as a visa free entry to Venezuela
@TwonieProject4 ай бұрын
As far as I know, anyone can cross at Cucuta. If you require a visa ahead of time, the consulate in Cucuta is an easy place to get it, but there are other Venezuelan consulates where you could go. It is a controlled border, so.if you require a visa, don't try crossing here without one!

It's easier to fill out and pay for your FMM online. Take the printed-out form AND receipt to the guy in the little office to stamp. Saves some steps.

Is Highway 3 to Ensenada from Tecate safe?
@TwonieProject11 ай бұрын
We had no issues, so our experience says yes. Best plan is to never ride at night - between the potholes, animals, speed bumps, pedestrians, unlit vehicles and drunks the risk isn't worth the reward.
