Nice truck, I'm jelly. Thinking about putting this esc/motor combo in my granite. Have an ezrun 3550/60a setup in an no-name buggy and it has been rock solid for years.

hi man i got some problems with the hub pin that sits in the cvd, the metal spring there just won't hold it in place so the pin will go out and almost melt the plastic in the hub. is this a known issue? do you have any tips for what can i do if it's happened to you too?
@HEAT_RC2 ай бұрын
I broke the pin in the front cvd - i replaced with an armour kraton pin and then experienced what your talking about in the end I replaced the cvd and the hub. It was after rediculous bad crash tho!
@Boogie_the_cat5 күн бұрын
My pin broke not even crashing, just 6s driving on grass. The spring is still there, just pin broke and got lost. The CVDs are no good. I wish someone would make upgrades. For a $22 part to be ruined by a small pin...what a waste. I have no fix, only buy replacement and all the old metal goes in trash. I don't know how you have your pin still when it fall out, I lose pin. Try thread locker on the spring?

This is super random but you wouldn't be able to measure the width of the plastic driver piece & ball park guess the height of the drivers inside would you? I love my Kagama. I think the cheap tools that come with some cars can cause more problems then help. I would recommend spending 20-40 bux and get some good tools, stripped screws are a super pain. If you spend hundreds on a car, spend a few more on tools.
